1.3 [Newbie Friendly] GROUNDSLAMMER BUILD

Is it reasonable for end game play to run something like this?


I'm close to filling this out now (have all the major bits, but still using BM keystone until I get better gear to be able to link more auras to reduced mana and a mana steal item) currently using 7 charge Enduring Cry, Molten Shell, and Grace with IR as my defenses.


I'm playing it as both ground slam and infernal / splash / multistrike for aoe attacks with a supported heavy strike for single target and its doing well in act 3 merciless even with pretty poor gear. Leap slam for transport and certain bosses.

I dumped Warlord's Mark for Vulnerability, seems to be a more useful curse in parties and solo play.

Thanks for the awesome build! I'm lvl41 and kicking ass in Cruel, although if I weren't lucky enough to get my hands on this unique I'd still be struggling with stronger mobs. The rest of my equipment is meh, so still a great build!

Great build. Have a question. What should i get first. Enduring cry or warlords mark. Any suggestions.

I've been away a while but back now & rebuild started in ONS, now is in hardcore at lvl 40 with mostly crappy gear but this weapon is still working ok

Running with Wrath and anger with bloodmagic and reduced mana, and haste and hatred on mana. Im at 1867hp(reserved ~400, plus the -25% from carnage heart, without carnage @2762hp) I'm at 24k dps with my groundslam with all auras and 3frenzy, and aorund 36k dps with my heavy strike. (When I am using heavy strike, do I switch to my Voidhome for more attackspeed). I got 7000armour with 3 endurance charges and moltenshell, which gives me 58% reduced physical damage taken.

I see you taken all the dmg nodes (and Auras) you could but not much armor, and i am very curious to know how is your survivability with only 2K life and sub-10K armor (with that nice 2.2K Armor you got, Grace and Determination would go a long way!).

Just for comparison, my non-optimized skill tree is this (i wait for the release respec to alter a few things):

With the gem setup above i have 6K GS and 10.1K HS (with Hatred).
Life at 2965/3267 (Grace takes 300HP)
Base Armor 4.7K, 7.4K with Grace and final of 11K with Grace+Determination (but Auras will change after the release).
Stats with this gear is 419str 178dex 93int.

PS
I think that leaving the 3 nodes of Reckless Abandon and taking the 3 at Skull Cracking would be better, since the release respec is coming (only my noob opinion ofc)
