1.3 [Newbie Friendly] GROUNDSLAMMER BUILD

I'm nearly done with Normal difficulty with this build as a guide. For the most part it's been easy sailing and fun, but there are times when my health bar drops extremely fast. I have Life on Hit on three different skill gems, so I'm usually able to Leap Slam into a group of monsters and hit with Sweep and be okay. Still, I found that I had to get a few armor nodes just to survive the Battlefield when I reached that area. It made a big difference. Maybe my armor wasn't as good as it could be, I don't know. Fun build, though and can't wait to progress further into the skills.

I've been using Molten Shield to good effect with this build, at least in Normal. At level 9 it's granting additional 487 armor, and deals 214-321 fire damage. Pretty nice, and no reason not to use it that I can see.

Quest Rewards
There is a page that contains every quest reward in game. Just search for it. I dont want to overload this guide with informations. Secondly I wont rewrite here whole Mechanics Thread. Its buid, not all-in-one guide.

Uniques
Well Mahori Yuri is not so obvious, because it costs right now 10 exalts on average. And new players wont get that amount of currency by 57 level. Second example is Kaoms Heart: which varies around 30 exalts.
Ill defenetly do Unique Section, but rigt now there are more important things to do, doesnt it? Let leave Geofri Baptism for people who are wise enough to use wiki, for now xD

You have probably problems with snakes. They deal chaos damage, so only CI builds are not vulenerable to it. Well, you cant face-tank them. Learn to kite.

11k heavy strike 5k groundslam level 76 though nothing has changed since 70

Personally I think sweep in cruel/merci = death

I sailed through cruel battlefield with only 17% armour reduction...most importantly is 75% lightning resists. Those archmages arc skill which can shock and hit you offscreen in addition to their lightning thorns is pretty hellish for a melee without lightning resists

Hi, I am lv75 with a dps of 18.5k on heavy strike and 6k on ground slam. Spent around 3 exalt worth of orbs on my current set of gears. I believe thats on the 'above average' tier(hopefully)?


A question, would I still need life leech gem if I have 12% phy dmg leech? 10% from carnage heart and 2% from passive tree. My ground slam does around 1.3k phys dmg.

Running hatred and anger auras.
Would like to try haste. Might swap out life leech for blood magic so I can run both hatred and haste together.
