1.3 [Newbie Friendly] GROUNDSLAMMER BUILD
I am currently messing around Elemental Marauder Build, which I want to implement into a guide as one of the end-game alternative. So showing you mine gear makes no sense.

Hi
I´m playing the sweep build with axe (so I changed the dmg nodes into axe) I am currently lvl 60 and just finished merciless(default league) My def stats are: 2700 life 145 life reg per sec. armour: only 1465 (but I am doing well with granite flasks) fire res:63 cold res:53 light res:70 chaos res:-47 My Dps: Heavy Strike: 3150 Sweep:1900 Now I don´t know: Should I rather go for life nodes, resistance nodes or dmg nodes? Life are most versatile. You can also go for damage or even Iron Reflexes. It all depends on your needs: go for something you lack.

Would Loot Gems like "Increased Quantity" work when they are linked to warlord's mark?
Or do u really need to do the last hit with an active dmg skill + supp gem? IGN: Demikun

So now I just have to make sure I can make it to that position before the mob is dead each time. :-P

i just started playing 2 weeks ago so gear isn't perfect but i am working on it, I need advice on: a) my gear, what piece you think is least good/worth upgrading, how well or bad i linked my main attacks, etc... b) my build... what do you think about it? i do tons of dmg, dmg is least of my problems, i do feel like i am dropping hp too fast, i tried picking every single hp/regen node possible and also resistance. i am resi capped. as you can see in my build i am now going towards the hp nodes/regen that are at the top right of my build... you think it's smart ? i was thinking maybe go iron reflexes but i doubt it will be useful with my gear... what do you say? some advice would be nice, thank you |

Hello, i'd like some feedback on my build.
I've been using this since launch but progressing slowly a bit. Now I've reached a point where i'm actually not being able to progress through higher level maps without wasting too much time killing mobs slowly and 1 by 1 which is not time efficient. I do lack some gear at the moment but i know where i'm heading and trying to fix that bit, i'm playing ground slam and heavy strike and running 2 auras at the moment, wrath and anger. PS: i'm level 78 at the time of making this post. Current build: My preveious aim with this current build: A few notes and thoughts about why i chose this, and yes i'm aware that this is headed towards very high levels. I wanted to use grace for iron reflexes as the OP suggests. And seeing as i need the Dex and int to run my auras as highest level as i could, the extra nodes would not hurt. I'm actually planning to twist my build a bit, but i need some feedback before i start using my remaining respec points with regret orbs. -1, My aim here is to remove a lot of damage nodes and putting them in the survivability i had planned for later on. Although i am sitting at 3.4k with full dps support gems on my ground slam at the moment, i am worried removing all those nodes would hurt me badly. -2, i removed bloodless in this build but this is something i hesitate to do because i am running maps that have warlord's mark curse on me, would they still be doable with me removing that node? plus the extra mace speed node next to it is a huge boost, so i hesitate. -3, i removed blood magic here[although not planning to do that now], for the aim of using % based auras for my mana, such as purity and hatred and vitality with a highly leveled reduce mana gem[not sure that would work without putting reduce aura mana in my passive build], and i'd keep wrath, anger and grace with a blood magic gem. So i'd be running 6 auras. -4, around the templar area, i added catalyze along with the other 2 weapon elemental nodes, and removed the 2 strenght nodes linking the chain on bottom, this would be a bigger dps boost hence the auras and added fire gem and would only cost me 1 extra node. -5, also i hesitate to remove bone smasher node because it's such a big dps boost. -6, around the marauder area, i removed the extra element resists and moved another route, this saves up 5 nodes, i could remove the extra 4 with current build and keep the fire resist linked, but is it worth the loss? it's such a big loss on element resist from passives and it's hard to compensate with gear. Don't know if i missed anything, but would like some feedback on the change i'm hoping to make, my biggest worry is dps loss, i barely do any already and can't manage to do higher level maps. I'm hoping to get some armor gear in future cause a pure HP regen build won't be enough when i'm taking insane hits. The brutus boss in dungeon map can one shoot me with increase damage map mod, and i'm running at 4k hp. PS: I am using warlord's mark as a curse, but not perfectly sure if i should stick to it or change enfeeble or vulnerability or if there is any other option here, would like some input as well please :) my gear:
