well you cast ice spear for power charges , but seems ice spear doesnt damage anymore due to the skill , do you still get the crit charges

" You will never get damage from ice spears with Ancestral Bond taken for dual totem. But you will still get the power charges. Its Power Charge on crit not power charge when crit damage given. Ice spear second form gives you 600% Crit chance. U will crit, you will not do damage and yes you will get your power charges. Rampage IGN : Cool_Hamster

I don't get it, flameblast totem should work just like incinerate, the totem will keep casting untill its duration is up, but flameblast is not like incinerate hits constantly, it is a one hit spell
so here's my point, all the cast speed you have, isn't it totally irrelevant with flameblast totem? since it's only gonna "blast" at the end of the spell totem's duration? as long as your cast speed can make stage 10 of the skill appear before spell totem dies, you don't need no more and you are not using reduced duration don't get it |

Do both your flame blast and storm call builds currently work? I'm trying to run this and I'm getting stomped in act 3 cruel. I can't kill piety as I get pretty much 1 shotted.
Currently using dual totem but and starting to get into the crit side. Any recommendations. Oh and i'm level 53. |

Nice build and video. I think this one is the best flameblast build I've read so far. Dual totem flameblast works way better than I thought.

" Cast speed helps in how quickly the Flameblast grows. Since there is no technical duration set for Flameblast, Reduced Duration does nothing to help it. And you're correct, if you noticed in the video, the Flameblasts did not trigger until the totem either died or was recasted (at least, from what I could tell). |

How fast cast speed do you want? On my totems I have 57% cast speed and it still feels a little slow...
Oh and whats better fire pen, or ignite chance or burning dmg? I only have a 5L so I can't get elemental prolif :( so hard to get armor. Also wanna take a look at my gear and see what should i switch out? I'm struggling a bit on maps... Last edited by TheBanishedOn3#3038 on Jan 23, 2014, 1:48:17 AM

My Skilltree I still dont get it how Castspeed works with Storm Call. I have this problem: My Tooltip says my Totems do 2635,9 DPS and Casttime is 0,23 Sec. If i exchange my Haste-Aura Gems from a lvl 19 Gem with 16% Cast Speed to a lvl 12 one with 13% Cast Speed, the Tooltip Damage stays the same and the Casttime is 0,24 Sec. How can the Damage stays the same if the castspeed goes up? First i thought its cause i have to reach the next Step when i get 1 more casts before the spell goes off. I use a Reduced Duration Gem. Its 19/20 and reduces the Duration by 53%. in my Offense Tab it says i cast 4,2 times a second. The Base-Duration of the gem is 90 Seconds. 47% of that is 42,3 Seconds.(90/100)*47 So if i cast 4,2 in a Second i cast 2,961 Times in my Duration of 42,3 Seconds. 42,3*(4,2/60) So i thought if i reach 3 Casts in my Duration of 42,3 the tooltip damage would go up. I respect some Points in the Passive tree and reached 3,1 Cast in 42,3 Seconds. But the Tooltip does not change. Is there a Cap for Castspeed with this spell? Or where is the mistake in my thoughts? " I thought u were talking about flameblast. lol Any ways in regards to storm call , the faster your cast speed is the more storm call spots you can cast. i am not sure if it appears in your avg tool tips. there is a a cap on it thought but i am not sure what it is. if youreach 4 cast a sec i am sure that will be more damage isn;t it ? " for a 5 link i will personally favour 1 red and all blues. Flameblast doesn't decent damage by itself at it's final stage. I would switch out the fire penetration for Ele proliferation. Personally i switch between fire pen and burn damage if i have a 6 link. Rampage IGN : Cool_Hamster
