[1.0.6] Poison arrow/fire trap EB MoM degen build (Cheap and effective and BUFFED CRAZILY IN 1.0.6)

thx for the answer.
Sup folks

I'm testing a build like yours (PA + Desecrate w/ Trap MultTrap), based on DoTs.
I was thinking of using Detonade Dead w/ FasterCasting, IncreaseAoE, CullingStrike, ItemRarity(farming mod)
That would be a quickbutton to cull all kinds of mobs + giving a lil boost to the loot

Did some1 ever try this ?
can you play this on hardcore?
Does Carcass Jack do anything to help Poison Arrow? I just bought one, and there is no tooltip change. Hoping it's a bug ala concentrated effect, otherwise that sucks :(.

Also debating running a dual curse version with vuln and temp chains - with temp chains to keep enemies in the cloud longer. But, if I am reading Temp chains correctly - it would actually weaken the poison arrow effect so that'd be a bad idea. Anyone know?

@Asydra

I used ConcEffect on PA and it seemed to work just fine to me
(also :

From:
http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Poison_Arrow

Concentrated Effect: Concentrated Effect will decrease the size of the AoE and increase its damage. However, due to the nature of the skill and the wording of its modifiers, the damage increase will not appear on the tooltip.

- Quote from page 6, boggler12 -)

+

Duration: Temporal Chains will make any effect which has a duration on the cursed pass more slowly than it normally would, including itself. The Duration listed is already modified to take this into account, so the listed duration on the skill isn't actually doubled. Included in this list are: other curses, Status Ailments, debuffs and other effects caused by skills such as Poison Arrow and Viper Strike, and even beneficial effects such as frenzy charges. Health degeneration debuffs will expire more slowly, but will cause the same amount of damage per second they normally would.
I think you misread my first question. I know about concentrated effect - the question is about Carcass Jack.

And for the second question - wow sounds like temp champs would work awesomely then.

I just bought a carcass jack for this build. it doesnt show any increase in tooltip but since conc effect doesnt either i assume its better. it feels faster. im pretty sure!

I just hit 1337 tooltip DPS btw

Bust a move!
Running this build now as a Scion. My poison arrow totem build just sucks to be honest. Having great fun with this. Lvl 67 atm with 9.4k armour and 2.7k life. Empower still needs to level and so do my other main gems.

Im using temp chain curse for fast moving packs so I can control them better and use the cwdt/immortal cry settup instead of the lighting warp. I might change this later when my mana regen (149 atm) can't keep up with the arctic armour mana use.

I do have a questin tho, the gem culling strike only works when the poison arrow projectile hits the enemy, so culling strike doesn't apply on the poison cloud. Is there any other gem to buff the poison cloud even more?

Also, I might be thinking about using Windscream greaves to be able to cast 1 additional curse (vuln+tempchains).

Heya,

Nobody mentioned it before, but since Poison Arrow is a Projectile, wouldnt it be great to pick up Point Blank? Did anyone tested this if it works for the Cloud aswell? Would be a huge damageboost if so...

And another thing, in my opinion MoM is designed for Evasion based Chars, cause then your Mana doesnt drop constantly if you take damage, it only drops from time to time if you eat a hit. So you are more likely to have a full Manapool if you take a really big hit, and low Mana would be not as big of a problem as it is with Iron Reflexes. Its just theory but when i start of a new char in the upcoming leagues and try this build, ill ceck this out.

Thx Nico for the nice guide.
Very nice build, giving me another option to try come the new leagues
