It works 100%. It will not show on tooltip

Anyone tried this build at end game? Id be curious as to how it would perform. I know he did a video but my guess is that's a 66 map.

Thanks for this interesting build Nico. I started as Scion taking the projectile damage nodes. Leveling takes a little patience but I enjoy the play style.

what about added chaos dmg?

my ranger is lvl 26 in nemesis league i dont play PoE since almost 1 year so...
how can i have all those gems? i only have poison arrow + faster proyectiles and firetrap.

Why not just taking melee splash viper strike instead of poison arrow.

Very nice build. I'm trying this since a week and it's really fun to play (in Domination league). My strategy is to cast a trap first then draw a poison arrow in the middle of the horde (I use pierce too) and cast vulnerability if required. It requires high mana regeneration staff to start but the monsters are faster to kill than I first thought. Chaos Damage is very different: Piety was easy to kill with traps & PA. I've been testing this build with mixed results. I still dont feel like the damage is there and I have a +1/+2 bow. I think I need another level on my gem and I still dont have empower level 2 with a 5link, maybe that makes all the difference.

One thing that has worked really well is using a high level decoy totem. Basically I'll cast poison arrow, casts the decoy right in middle of cloud, then Vulnerability/fire trap depending on how quickly they're melting. The decoy totem means I dont need to run around dodging mobs or recasting poison clouds as they move. Pretty sweet.

Bump ! This spec got buffed like fucking crazy in this patch (At gem level 22, my damage got buffed by about 60% !)

Now I'm literally tearing through level 66-70 maps, and once I get my gem to level 24-25, shit is probably going to be crazy :p

I'd suggest buying +3 bows if there is any before their stock is depleted ;p

59 Chaos Ranger

This is awesome, I had a fun little Poison Arrow/Explosive Arrow build I started and was playing for fun. I bet Desecrate works really well for this too - starting a Witch just to go grab it. More Chaos Damage, and some meat to keep enemies in place.
