" Chris already said that change goes live in... about 12 hours from now You expect me to act as something I'm not? I picked this name for a reason. Last edited by Arrogant#7481 on Jan 23, 2013, 2:16:21 AM

" The skill tree on the site is directly connected to the tree in game, it's how they designed it to be able to link items and see inventory from the game on the site. They run together cohesively. So that means the tree can't change until the patch goes live. “Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.”

As someone who goes through life fcuking up and sees game companies do so one after the other; I'm in awe of how GGG seem to get things so right. If not exactly at first, then soon after.
Casually casual.

Will microtransactions be purchasable between the 2 hour.downtime, but when the website is back online?

If you sell the pre-order Kiwis in packs later on i will be pissed.
It should be pre-order only. If you are selling them again, do other colors or something. Last edited by Sparowes#1965 on Jan 23, 2013, 2:40:10 AM

Just want to say it's great you've relented on the paid recovery items, but with the implied change in pricing please be careful. I feel that you'll get a lot more of my money (or rather get me to actually spend my 1k shop credits from silver pack) if you offer me something that seems reasonably priced and good value for money. To quote the earlier arbitrary example, $30 for a permanent reusable effect is kind of extreme. $30 is an insane sum of money for just one little particle effect.
Have a lot of worthwhile/reusable items for good, reasonable, cheap prices will heavily incentivise buying. Just take a look at Sony and their station cash sales, people who otherwise would not have spent money see a triple station cash sale and drop amounts of $30 and $50 dollars just because it seems like crazy value for money (though please don't actually do that because it will make a lot of supporter packers feel ripped off for buying their credit at the normal rate). It's why steam makes such incredible profit with their seasonal sales (and why gamers with easy access to money acquire backlogs of like 200-400 games they will never play, I know I'm guilty of that). I don't feel like I need anything else to back that up because offering great value for money is so obviously the sole reason that steam is one of the most used video game distributors in the world. |
