Chris, any chance of a floating Witch? The floating effect during the character creation is pretty cool.

Close enough, I suppose it would get tiring to float if you were also throwing firestorm everywhere like I tend to do :)
Chris can I suggest a separate thread for further discussion of micro-transactions? There may be other legitimate feedback people want to offer but it will be buried among the micro stuff.
You expect me to act as something I'm not? I picked this name for a reason.

UPDATE: Due to extensive feedback in this thread, we have changed the implementation so that effects can be reclaimed at no cost. Microtransaction effects can be freely moved between items. This will affect their initial pricing somewhat, but we'll investigate adding cheaper one-use "demo" versions of them in the near future.

That was fast!! Thanks for listening to the community!!

I was about to comment on my thoughts with the previous patch notes on micro-transaction purchases and refreshed the page first. It's this kind of listening and quick response that will keep me throwing money at the game for a long time. I agree with these changes.

Well, i'm a Diablo player (used to play diablo 3) but i heard about POE before i bought diablo, i received my beta key on january (but since i made the application on august i didn't know i got the key until today when i checked my mail and saw about the open beta).

I have to be honest, this is the first time i read the forum, and i haven't played the game (waiting till tomorrow) but i really like the way you keep in contact with players, i think this is the 1st time i see this happening and actually doing something on feedback.

i read the patch notes explanation and is way better how you handle things than how blizzard does, i just have one thing on my mind, i've seen several games that are "against pay to win" but after some time they just fall into P2W way to do things, i really really hope you guys won't do the same.

After developers see how the game is getting more and more players they introduce pure cosmetic items on the cash shop section, eventually they start doing those "exp boost" sales ocassionaly, when they see how succesful that was they just implement it permanently and following that they just keep adding better and better pay to get super awesome items, of course you can still get the same game, 100% of its content for free but is just not the same for players who can't spend money on it.

I really hope you guys keep that promise that this game will be free to play and not pay to win, eventhough eventually i'll be buying stuff on this game but is just not fair for others.

Is all i have to say, currently you are doing a great job that will take this game to some important place in the future, and i really hope you keep in mind all players and never get greedy ;)

Can't wait till open beta and i'm sorry for my bad english (i'm mexican and i'm still learning)

This is promising/hopeful news, but unfortunately, without an actual number to go with it, it doesn't really mean anything to me. For all I know the "initial pricing" affect could come out as $20 or more, which would make it bad news.
I know you said it would be expensive but could you please give us the option to let us buy "all current and future stash tabs are premium" as a one time fee?
