[0.11.0] Eldritch Battery/Armour Crit Dagger Shadow (Based off the CI Crit Dagger Shadow concept)

You don't have enough physical damage on your dagger to run LS with WED.

I have a lvl 41 dagger with same damage (ok almost perfect roll but still), you can find waaay better in trade at lvl 70+. Choose a dagger with lower base attack speed : you'll get same DPS but less mana problems.

Having a good physical damage dagger will solve all of your mana problem. You could also try to find +physical damage gloves/rings if you can't find a dagger.

For the flasks : you want surgeon's flask of iron skins for your two granites, you should need only 1 mana pot, last one could be quicksilver or insta life. All surgeon's, and at least one should remove curse.

Yeah I actually went out and got this about an hour ago.

Still isn't really getting it done. I can't find anything with higher physical damage. Any other ideas?

And thanks for the flask help!

Sorry I can't afford the time to read all 60 pages but I was wondering about something. I am using 2 Granite and 3 mana flasks. What kind of prefix and suffix might i be looking for on my flasks?

Also I am still having mana regen issues at lvl 74. Running anger, wrath, haste, hatred. Blood Rage is a non issue for me and life stays pretty good. I am using mind drinker and warlords and I just cant keep it up. I have 2.6k HP and 900 Mana. Only 233 after the 4 auras.

My set up is this:

~4k dps on LS/FS/DS.

Any ideas to help this out? Besides Mana Leech gem? (I don't want to have to chrom the chest and lose added fire.

Thanks for any help you all can give!

Surgeons is probably one of the most useful prefixes on flasks as for suffixes dousing, whatever dispels frozen, a useful but often debatable one that I like is curse immunity.

Mb try 2% leech on gloves or amu then? Considering you have the chaos res on rings would be hard to get it on them.
I made a different Passive Tree build and hope you can give me some input/Critic/opinions on it!

So the basic difference to the one in the Startpost is, that i skipped the whole way to the Templar/Marauder Area and went all the way down to the Duelist Tree.
So the way is pretty much the same - you need around 16 points to come to the Life/HPreg Nodes in the Marauder/Templar Area and you need the same amount to come to the HPReg Nodes in the Duelist Tree. Compared the Nodes in the Duelist Tree are a bit higher.
The HP overall is the same, but on on the way to the Duelist Area you can pick up some decent additional HP Nodes if needed. Also you can get another Frenzy Charge + more DPS with "Fencing", oder "Ice Bite".
The only downside of going down, i can see, is the lose of the 50% Weapon Elemental DMG (As solution you can get the 30% under the Ranger area) and the missing 25% Resistance. (Here you can get the +15% in the Duelist Area)

On the upside i think going to the Duelist Area gives you more opportunities for more DMG or HP (whatever you need) and you can do some different stuff like getting the "Mana Flows" for more Mana/Reg or Attackspeed, and so on. If you miss some INT you can pick up the two "Savant" Nodes which gives you exactly as much as you miss compared to the Marauder/Templar way. (Or Twin Terrors for DW User for big Crit Increase)

My actual Shadow is only around lvl 30 and i know have to decide which way i will go, so would be nice to get some opinions from people with higher Level! (Since i cant compare him with my Freezing Pulse Shadow)
So be free to destroy the build! (if needed ;))

Thanks will look to do that after I get one of the chaos res nodes in the tree. Switched out faster attacks for mana leech and that seems to be doing a little bit better.

My apologies if this is a dumb question, but it's something that's been bothering me about this build:

Where does the life leech come from?

I know that Blood Rage and Warlord's Mark will add leech, but it's only of physical damage. Do the lightning strike projectiles deal physical damage or something? Does the leech come from somewhere else? Thanks for any help on this.

I don't know the exact number but it's something like 25% of LS's damage is physical so yes, it does provide life leech. If you go through the thread (not calling you out on anything, just pointing out) people have had problems and it's been said by Nagarashi among a few others countless times that having a better dagger solves those sustain problems. You hit harder, meaning more life leech. You kill faster, taking less damage, etc. etc.

I myself found the build easy up until about act 3 cruel, where I started having trouble. I wasn't dying, but it was taking a while to clear rooms just cause I hit soft and I was squishy. If you keep at it, and gear up properly, everything comes together nicely and you find the build is actually well done and very fun.

As a side note, life on hit is more mana intensive but it really helps until you can sustain yourself without it.

I'm currently 68 now, trying to farm up maps and get some more upgrades and was able to solo everything on merciless with little to no trouble aside Piety(bitch killed me 3 times).

If you want a reference point, my build doesn't stray off too much from the tree posted on the first page.
lvl 68
2.6k hp
700 mana (including es from EB)

w/ hatred, anger, wrath and clarity up I have about 130 mana to use which is enough cause of warlords mark+ mind drinker node
7k dps on double strike, 4.7k on lightning strike and 5k on flicker and this is without frenzy charges up.

Gear:

If you get around to reading this Nagarashi, mind helping me out with the priority of what I should upgrade next? Besides a dagger since I'm always looking for a better dagger, I just always seem to get sniped on bids on the forums :P

I haven't really had much time to read everything through but I'll pick it up again starting today (was mainly on holiday/had company).

What I would focus on in your case is perhaps try and find a different second ring instead of the topaz ring because that one is pretty bad to be honest (I assume you need the lightning resist but that can be solved in my next part).

Next up would be: Defensive = Chest (I know it's a 5L but you obviously lack resistance on that one - either rerolling it with a chaos or selling it and buying a 5L astral plate wouldn't be a bad idea)
Offensive = Belt/Amulet. I assume you took those for the chaos resistance and the amu is not bad at all but of course could be better (onyx amulet with dual crit, life, resistance for example - altho I like the light dmg on the amulet), same for the belt. Not a bad belt but not better than mediocre either. You should opt for higher maximum life combined with WED and the necessary resistances.

I assume that sums it up pretty well? :)

Hi everyone , me again :)
My state as of now is :
Spoiler

I've just reached the gemlin queen , and i have to go to save the ribbon spool , but i have a problem, i feel like i'm not dealing the higher damage i could reach , suggestions?

Upgrading belt later today and been looking for 80+ HP, 20+ Chaos res pure armor gloves, having no luck :\

My opinion on this build? Not very fun till you get a 5L for Lightning Strike, i was about to reroll when I hit 60 but my chest piece motivated me to keep going and now i'm having so much fun 2-3 shotting things :>

3.9k HP
2.9k Armor
75/75/75/-12% (Will be 75/75/75/8 when i upgrade the belt)

I actually have not gotten EB yet, won't get it till i finish getting the health nodes in Templar area and i'm actually trying to get the +5 max res node since it's only 3 nodes away.

If i can get movespeed+chaos res+high life shoes, i'm going to switch out haste for determination and i'm looking into using purity with inner force aswell.

I'm on HC, so let me know if you have any questions about doing this build on HC.

Sooooo traded a chaos for a dagger. This one:
Spoiler

Turns out it's worse than this one, which I was already using:
Spoiler

Ouch. Lesson learned.

Anyway, does anyone have a dagger they'd be willing to trade in the 1-2 chaos range that would be an upgrade to my current dagger? And if anyone wants the first one, you can have it for an alc.

Still struggling with this build. lv 65 with ~650 mana 2.3k health 2.9k DS and 1.7 LS (missing WED). A little frustrating, but I realize its more of an issue with my gear and lack of quite a few support gems (reduced mana x2, wed, and maybe another).
