Use two daggers until merci, stack armor until like level 40-50.
No reason to have endgame attempted stats at early game, you could be doing 5x your damage, I 1 hit most mobs up to cruel and now I'm in merci, I'm still dual wielding and outputting CRAZY dps and I'm not even thinking about a shield yet, seeing as my Chaos Resis is nearly at the 0% mark.

I had attack speed and life before regal. Now got strengh...is it worth exalting these?What are my chances of getting say armor % or chaos resist etc?

No, with an exalt you can buy better gloves already. Crafting rarely pays off.

Trying this build and work great so far. I'm just mixing armor/ev, it´s seems quite efficient actually. Need just a good weapon (dagger of course). Some of us have tried this mix eef ? Thanks for this great guide inva

My apologies if this is a dumb question, but it's something that's been bothering me about this build:

Where does the life leech come from?

I know that Blood Rage and Warlord's Mark will add leech, but it's only of physical damage. Do the lightning strike projectiles deal physical damage or something? Does the leech come from somewhere else? Thanks for any help on this.

I believe LS damage depends of your weapon damage .

I don't know the exact number but it's something like 25% of LS's damage is physical so yes, it does provide life leech. If you go through the thread (not calling you out on anything, just pointing out) people have had problems and it's been said by Nagarashi among a few others countless times that having a better dagger solves those sustain problems. You hit harder, meaning more life leech. You kill faster, taking less damage, etc. etc.

I myself found the build easy up until about act 3 cruel, where I started having trouble. I wasn't dying, but it was taking a while to clear rooms just cause I hit soft and I was squishy. If you keep at it, and gear up properly, everything comes together nicely and you find the build is actually well done and very fun.

As a side note, life on hit is more mana intensive but it really helps until you can sustain yourself without it.

I'm currently 68 now, trying to farm up maps and get some more upgrades and was able to solo everything on merciless with little to no trouble aside Piety(bitch killed me 3 times).

If you want a reference point, my build doesn't stray off too much from the tree posted on the first page.

w/ hatred, anger, wrath and clarity up I have about 130 mana to use which is enough cause of warlords mark+ mind drinker node
7k dps on double strike, 4.7k on lightning strike and 5k on flicker and this is without frenzy charges up.

If you get around to reading this Nagarashi, mind helping me out with the priority of what I should upgrade next? Besides a dagger since I'm always looking for a better dagger, I just always seem to get sniped on bids on the forums :P

Sorry I can't afford the time to read all 60 pages but I was wondering about something. I am using 2 Granite and 3 mana flasks. What kind of prefix and suffix might i be looking for on my flasks?

Also I am still having mana regen issues at lvl 74. Running anger, wrath, haste, hatred. Blood Rage is a non issue for me and life stays pretty good. I am using mind drinker and warlords and I just cant keep it up. I have 2.6k HP and 900 Mana. Only 233 after the 4 auras.

My set up is this:


~4k dps on LS/FS/DS.

Any ideas to help this out? Besides Mana Leech gem? (I don't want to have to chrom the chest and lose added fire.
