I was wondering if you guys could steer me in the right direction. Right now, it seems like my build is lacking in all areas. damage: lvl 52 with something like 650 dps on ls and 550 dps on ds. defense: 1900 hp and 20% phys dmg reduction/evasion. 80 ES mana: 180 with anger/hatred up. ~350 without anything (haven't spec'd into EB yet. I'm also missing quite a few support gems. Here is my gear: Spoiler also have this weapon, shows slightly less dps Spoiler It seems like im behind in about every area. Any constructive tips on steps to take? It feels like I need a million things but have trouble focusing on where I should start. Any help would be awesome. I can currently farm act 3 cruel City of Sarn without too much trouble. Dock's aren't too bad either (except those damn void bears). When I went to progress through the quests tonight in the battlegrounds, i got wreeeecked. EDIT: TLDR I'm lacking in just about everything you can imagine (dmg,survivability, mana, support gems). What would you recommend focusing on resolving first? It seems your main issues are stemming from two things (granted I cannot see your skill tree). A) Your DPS is very low. I am lvl 42 and putting out >1000DPS with dual strike - you need to have faster attacks, firedamage/colddamage/lightening damage/critical strike modififer linked to it. Also - make sure your running your Wrath/Anger. B) Get firetrap for the cluster fucks - it does surprisingly high DPS (Im lucky to have scored a 16% quality one when I was merely lvl 6. While my gear is far from ideal, i find that its difficult to replace. They are the best mods I have come across over quite a few hours and I'm having trouble figuring out how to fit in DS with 3 supports. I suppose it might be worth sacrificing some good mods for the sake of drastically increasing dps? Should I scout out some 4-L whites and alc them up? I guess I'm having trouble striking a balance between sockets and mods. Drops never seem to be an upgrade to both. As far as the skill tree, ive followed it pretty much exactly up to level 50. But I took some health nodes invalesco earlier than he did, because I was not ready to start speccing for daggers/EB yet. So I'm level 51 and having a pretty tough time with this build. I'm in act 3 cruel, and pretty close to beating it. Should I stay in act 3 cruel to level up a bit more? I'm having a hard time soloing and wasn't sure whether to scrap this build and start something else. This is my first character and I'm just curious whether having a hard time with beating cruel is normal for all classes, or is this build just somewhat tough to perfect? I would feel a lot better knowing that no matter what class or build you choose, merciless is tough regardless until you upgrade your items. @Invalesco (or others knowing this): When crafting, do certain daggers have a higher chance of rolling specific mods than others? I tend to see way more intelligence/mana regen/spell damage/... mods when I craft an Imperial Skean than when I do the same to a Ezomyte Dagger or a Platinum Kris. Just curious.
