Yes it applies. There are high level chaos resist mods going up to +30% to chaos resistance. If you can get 2 of those you're fine. if not, a temporary solution would be to get geofri's crest unique helm. that will help alot.

my dps is around 800 with duel strike, i'm level 36 and i use these daggers

but my duel strike is in my gloves with wed and added fire damage, I also use wrath and anger auras atm

Found myself two new swords earlier, so my dps has gotten a bit better, and seem to be okay at the moment. Am in lunaris tempel nearing the end boss i believe, currently lvl 36. Mana seems to be fine, HP is about 720.

Btw am only using one aura, and that is wrath.

You guys are using dual weapons? Shit, I found it too hard to survive with duals so I went with a shield.

All the way in act3 Cruel dual-wielding at the moment. Want to see how far I can actually go until I really really really HAVE to switch.

Hey just wondering since you havn't updated us since you died. How is your shadow with this build coming? I died once at 15 due to being blocked by someone and once at 20 due to client crash. Very lame but still going to work at it. My ranger is almost 40 so it helps for getting some stuff :D

Heya, I didn't have any problems. Managed to finish up Cruel and Act1 merci but then got bored so started building another shadow in HC again haha. I'll prob get back to leveling that dagger shadow again soon!

Yup, got bored of default and went back to HC. Currently trying to build up a caster shadow with the aim of eventually using a low-life build. Gonna try and farm up ES gear as well so I can replicate the CI dagger shadow in HC

Is Blood Rage viable with this build or no?

Hit lvl50 today using this build, damn it was a pain. Cruel Act is really harse on Shadow it seems, so many mobs with high lightning resist and the damage you take is just insane. Using 1H and Shield since the start of Cruel but it just doesn't seem to make any difference. Having to run lvl 42/43 areas at lvl 49 just to get the dings and going in big groups through all the areas seems to do the trick. You definitely feel like a weaker class compared to the others at this stage of the game.

That said, I'm hope the worst is over, EB soon and some nice sockets/weapons and the build will be fine, just gotta learn how to "crisp" it up and do it properly between 30 and 50.

I have faith in this build/guide and I'm gonna see it through to the end, Shadow FTW.
