This game is too easy
Changes are coming with the patch, including increased difficulty.
As for the people saying it's too easy, see you in Hardcore. A lot of people say (x) is too easy but I see so many drop from HC that it simply isnt as true as people wish it to be. |

I died to firefury withen the first 10 mins of playing the game. This game is not too easy imo. Infact I liked that this game is pretty unforgiving. Thats what attracts me to it. GGG arent going to hold my hand. Ala how i feel when i play d3.
In softcore. I guess you could call it easy. If you die you can just reenter your tp and get rid of their remaining health. But. yeah. Play hardcore. the onlky reason i ever play SC is cause most my deaths that are somewhat serious. Arent really my fault. sure maybe my con is crap. I can accept when i die cause i did somethoing stupid ingame that was just screaming, kill me, please. But when i die to something more or less out of my control. Its just.. crushing. hurts me more cause i know. well i assume it was hardly ,y fault :) Smoother than Smooth. Last edited by Moist#6523 on Jan 23, 2013, 12:00:16 AM

" Krippers isn't even a good player. He plays much but that's it. " I play Hardcore and I think the game is too easy and now? I am only satisfied with a turbo league because that makes grinding maps interesting and quality players will stay alive. |

I actually didn´t buy D3 because it was too easy in the demo. I played the mage and didn´t find a single new staff on my way to the Skeleton King, thus my damage didn´t improve on the spells. I wasn´t clear that staff damage would actually do that. I thought it was melee damage, so I didn´t care. Fights weren´t difficult. I just thought they were a bit slow. There was no feeling of accomplishment, and I expect that on my first playthrough. Boy, was I surprised when I found a staff when I did the last stages again. Fights were at a good pace now, but a challenge virtually non-existent.
When I thought about playing the game with 5 classes and investing 15 hours per character on a difficulty that doesn´t challenge me I wasn´t too motivated to go for it. |

Diablo 2 was incredibly easy in normal and pretty easy for the most part in nightmare as well. It only got really hard by Act 2 Hell. I think the only real difference was Diablo 2 style gameplay was new to us so smashing mobs down seemed like real fun at the time. That is the problem when you become a hardcore gamer these things start to get boring, that is when you should start theorycrafting and mastering end game because unless you're #1 in the world there is always more to learn.

I don't play hardcore just because i tend to die my mistake - graphic lag-spikes mostly, since i play on my laptop and it's not high-end.
Just because you die once or twice doesn't mean it's not easy I played 3 difficulties and I barely remember anything cause there was no challenge, it was just boring clicking. And i don't want a boring game, i want challenge at least from the second difficulty, not from the last one only |

" I played Hardcore and found it to be way too easy. I hope what you say is true. |
|
" There is no difference between Default and Hardcore in terms of difficulty! Only that when you die in Hardcore, you are effectively perma-dead, but transfer o default instead. |

Ironman
In Ironman, players are unable to trade with vendors or refill their flasks in town. Mana regeneration is disabled by default. Players are encouraged to band together and manage their resources in order to survive. Now, that sounds difficult. |

" Not exactly. Sure, the monsters aren't stronger, nor do they do more damage than default league. The obvious difference is if you die, you die. That in turn is what makes it more difficult than default league. Unfortunately, I've rarely came across a scenario where I was near death at all. The Ironman league will suit my needs. Now I'll shut up after discovering that. Last edited by JJ108X#0677 on Jan 23, 2013, 1:45:33 PM
