I see that Iron Grip is still in the build. I googled if it works with Poison Arrow, but everywhere I found that it doesn't. It just affects the projectile's physical damage, not "projectile damage" as a whole. Here's from the wiki:

"

This gem causes strength's physical damage bonus to also apply to projectile attacks made with the supported skills. Only physical damage dealt by the projectile will be increased.

So have GGG made any changes to Iron Grip, or have people actually test it and find out it's working with PA? Or is it that the build hasn't been updated?

I'm running my Standard league ranger with this build (although i'm atm also using lightning arrow and fire trap). Will keep you updated on the damage numbers, if i ever get to a lvl 3 empower...

My suggestion for a 1.1.0 skilltree: Link

Note that i'm not getting as much projectile damage, but instead opt for Acrobatics. This build already has no armor or energy shield, without Acrobatics you're dealing cool amounts of damage but you'll just die. I managed to get the same amount of increased % life, but without touching the (nerfed) Scion life wheel. I spent those extra points into int (i can tell you from experience that you'll be lacking it, especially around the time you start doing maps) and a bit of mana.

If you think you can stay alive/firing without then, put the acrobatics or mana/int points somewhere else (like more projectile damage nodes). Good luck though.
Also, since kiting is way easier with higher attack speed, you might want to pick up the 8% attackspeed near ranger start. Maybe.

Thanks for the 1.1.0 skill tree suggestion. I'm going to try this build in the ambush league and see how it works while messing around with how much life I can comfortably get away with.
