[YoshiXt's Level 100 Physical wander] Power Siphon/Frenzy, CI, Vaal pact, IR, Unwavering
Hey man i was thinking of creating a Ci Phys wander like yourself in Nemesis BUT I was thinking of going ranger. With my ranger build I have the luxury of running 3 60% auras. With the passive tree reduced nodes and a level 20 reduced mana I have 82% mana reserved and 18% useable mana. The reason for me wanting to use all of these points to run 3 60% auras is because I am planning to solo a lot and group only for 77+ maps and having the option of running 3 auras at 146% effectiveness main 3 being grace, discipline and hatred but swapping for certain maps like wrath and purity. I have played a low life Phys wander in onslaught and made it to level 88 before the league ended (the character is still alive) and I didn't feel the reason to get unwavering stance with all the armour and ES I get from the auras. Anyways I wanted your opinion on the build (respecing to the build at level 83).

" Mostly just trying to get it higher than my LA archer, with a similar investment. I'm at about 2,5k LA and 21k Frenzy there (with frenzy charges up). But I'm guessing it won't be a problem with some more money to spend. :) Also noticed that an old 71 caster of mine is really close to your build, so no need to level a new one (yay). Much appreciated if you could be bothered with the video! Are there any certain points from your level 90ish balanced damage/es build that you deem less important? That is, what would you get before level 80, and what would you get from level 80 onwards? As a last question, when you talk about ES thresholds (like 7k+), is that always without discipline up? |

+ Deerstalker Deerskin Boots (1alch/1chaos) + Sunblast Cloth Belt (5-10 chaos) pros: not bad damage non gear-dependent (only 2 unique need) only 7 node for reset no need 5-6L. i use 4L only reflect-friendly )) cons: no have life/es leech/regen (i use Skeletons, Zombie or party ^) ) few slots for leveling "final" gem in swap weapon (only 6 gem leveling) gems+links

" Unwavering to me is a must have especially for a hardcore spec. I was always the one rushing leading the group in maps, face checking rooms etc. If i get stun locked without stun immunity it was an instant log out or death, due to how stun freeze durations lasts so long on a CI character. However this can be avoided if you play safe and position well but for solo you will be running into danger. Ranger wander isnt optimal. You waste alot of points travelling out and ranger lacks base mana and mana nodes to sustain the heavy costs of siphon (i levelled a wander ranger to 78 and i am seriously struggling with mana issues) You also waste too many points going for sovereignty. I would suggest grabbing the armour es cluster (body and soul) if you made this build on a witch. The biggest issue is the lack of es% nodes for a hardcore spec. 114% increased maximum es is far too little. It may be viable if you have near perfect es gear but i highly doubt that in the nemesis league. You need to travel towards the centre for the cirle of ES nodes and for your aura spec you may like the extra 5% mana reserved node too. " Oh you will easily get higher dps than your archer numbers :P. Phys wands just have insane scaling due to how much base crit a wand and stacking power charges compared to an archer. Every point is valued. The issue with my builds are they are very point heavy. They are end game builds. But if you are struggling with points I can suggest to delay the wand damage nodes past deep thoughts or unwavering stance (wear chayulas). 7k with discipline. 7k to me is acceptable es for end game. Much appreciated, both of you. :) The build looks fun judging by the video. Do you happen to know how much crit is prioritized over DPS on wands? Bought the following one for 50c, which felt like a nice price considering it's 200 dps and nearly 10% crit with two exaltable slots free. Would it be better than a 160 dps 11,5% crit wand?

" Stun duration is 350 ms by default. Your life doesn't matter in this regard. With enough Evasion + Block/Stun Recovery and possibly Ondar's Guile, you can live without Unawering Stance/Eye of Chayula. | |
" 350ms is huge... and your talking about 1 stun duration. Getting chain stunned multiple times by a pack of miscreations warrants a log without stun immunity. This builds survivability revolves highly on 1-2 shotting mobs and leeching. If you cant shoot, you cant kill, you cant leech, you will die. Stacking block and stun recovery is wasting affixes on gear and skill points on tree. Especially when it scales off 350ms. This is not a hp build. Why would i stack block and stun recovery when it isnt comparable to being immune. IGN:YoshiXt
