Yes, Purity of Elements is entirely optional. The OP doesn't use it! They use: Discipline. Anger. Wrath. Hatred. Haste. Vitality. Clarity.

Perandus Blazon is doing two things:

* IIQ
* +25 to all attributes

If you swap it out you're probably not going to be able to use your Level 20 gems due to insufficient base str / dex / int.

I can't answer for the OP but I used to run Summon Skeleteons while leveling for 2 reasons:

* to act as a decoy
* to have additional damage besides only the totem

I'm using Raise Spectre + Curse + Bear Trap but the nice thing about this build is that it supports a few variations. You can pick the remaining gems that work for your play style.

Would swapping Incinerate & Spell Totem(s) for Power Siphon + Conduit work?

Along with Voll's Devotion for extra fun!


You could also use Blood Rage quiet easily, providing 8-10 Auras as well as 5 Power & Frenzy charges.

With Blood Rage & Frenzy charges I was thinking a 6L could be:
Power Siphon, Item Rarity, Greater Multiple Projectiles, Chain, Mana Leech, Reduced Mana.

This is much better than not doing so, as well as allowing you to have a more active role in groups. I'm only worried you won't be able to last hit as well with Power Siphon compared to Incinerate & Spell Totem(s).

What's your opinion on this?

What about Searing Bond instead of Incinerate/Fire totem? Taking into account the speed of attack it's clearly infinite and range is also way better than Fire's totem.

Searing Bond is degeneration. It won't work with Culling Strike.

What about this variation of the build at 100 lvl? Seems a lot more tanky.
