BTW as of now I would only cast RF on searing touch and not on a chest :)

Great guide, definitely going to try this out.



I was looking at selling this but I think I'll be keeping it now :)
The fire trap was definitely OP in the early phase but then it plummets badly later on at level 27ish. I mean I was doing fine but then it lacked a lot in damage. Luckily a Facebreaker dropped with 787% but with iLvl 23 at Normal Docks.

So I'm just going to stick to Rathik's Power Leveling guide since it doesn't cost me much in the end and I could level any other char I want in the near future.

Let ya know what happens when I'm in the 60s' xD

happen to know someone if item rarity works with the searing touch as the 5th link?
Hmm, I was wondering what hp you have at level 65, cause I'm level 57 atm and I only have 2.5k hp, feel like thats kinda low :/

That seems kinda low, you should aim for life on all of your gear. Now I have 4k6 hp and 6k5+ should be possible after getting all the life passives in the build and with not too crazy gear.

1.0.3 changes

Growth and decay cluster seems pretty good and it's quite close. 1,4% life regeneration and 36% increased DOT damage (I assume that works for RF). The life regeneration fits this build perfectly, I need to check what would be the best way to implement these passives into the build. Maybe directly going to Sentinel picking up the resistance passives instead of life regeneration, really need to mess around a bit with it.

Rise of the phoenix 3D art, oh hell yeah. Add infernal skull new skin and now we really are on fire

Got setup for the moment and pretty cheap!

Weapon, gloves, boots, belt and left ring: self found

Total (without self found stuff): 39,5c

Need to update gloves and boots for more armour ones, these ones are ok for the moment

Quite budget build so far if you see the results. Will make some vids soon :)

May be a stupid question, but why dou you use elemental equilibrium? You hit the enemy with RF, and it gets 25% resist to fire.

RF doesn't trigger EE, so the idea is to use another spell to lower their fire resist with no drawback. (This is what I assume, but I'm fairly certain burning damage doesn't trigger EE)
I did some math with http://fogz.mine.nu:8080/poe_reserved_calc/

alpha howl with the already 8% mana reserve we have can do grace+determination+purity of fire and reduce mana, drop vitality and have amazing near 20k+ defense.

Doing this can also let us refund some points that were used on endurance charge to get it at around level 85 and pick up the new damage over time 1.4% life regain and grab the extra .8 by vaal pact.

Grabbing iron reflexs with alpha + this plate only makes it even better aswell, now add the level 22 grace+ determination and ultimately can go for a really good str/dex armor.

now you maintain 20k+ armor NO endurance charges, also do more burning damage

you can pretty much not worry about using enduring cry anymore and just use flamability.
Now you can use...

Any weapon you want in main hand no need for gem support

Helm 4L (alpha howl) Reduce mana - Grace - Determination - Purity of fire

Shield (rise of phoenix) 3L cast when stun level 20 + ice nova level 20 + shock nova level 20. I have a 15% cast when stun and stun happens a lot so works really good and gives a lot of damage

Plate 4link (belly of the beast) or a good str/dex one. Arc - Chain - Blood Magic-Faster casting If 5link use added chaos damage. (edit for future for facebreakers idea)

Gloves 4L Cast when damage taken - molten shell - enduring cry - item rarity or life leech

Boots 4L Flamability - Faster casting - blood magic - Increased area of effect

So yeah, I'm going to grab the new passives and iron reflexs and try alpha and dropping vitality + the 1 endurance charge and str nodes when I reach level 85ish or maybe 88ish. Should make this build super tank, more damage and no need to spam enduring cry on mobs and can let it be used with CWDT

level 82 atm, took 2 bandit rewards and 1 passive point goal for the above at level 88 is this tree below

EDIT: By the way I have a crazy idea with this, with the above set up you get to pretty much use any weapon you want. and the chest is just being used for arc right? What if...Facebreakers + no weapon + 5 link chest with infernal blow + Multistrike + Melee Splash + Melee Physical Damage + blood magic or faster attack if theres a way to use mana for Infernal blow.

Drop determination for hatred will still be able to use endurance charges+ grace for more defense than ever.

I read facebreakers do around 40k dps AOE with melee damage on full life added to the above with hatred aura. We could pretty much do same thing with righteous fire on top :O. And apparently cyclone is even more dps with facebreakers. Resolute technique is only 3 nodes away as well. Melee splash with facebreakers chasing down mobs while can either cast on stun or cast on damage ice nova+ shock nova for EE just sounds insane....I clear amazing with RF alone and with facebreakers they could be the answer to bad map rolls that can't use RF.

But yeah I posted this here hope you reply I did the math everything seems to work maybe you can see a reason it wont let me know : )
