Repost from marauder forums, thought I would also post it here as the build can also be done as Scion

Started again with this char with a few changes, discard armour from passive tree and determination (just use the 64% flat mitigation from LC and end charges + a bit of armour from gear), a bit more life and regen nodes, arc for proccing EE and shocking and manual cast IC with the extra duration passives for the loss of extra armour.

Arc and static blows I still have to get. Manual cast IC lasts 8 seconds atm which is very nice to kill bosses and invaders.

Level 76:
5k hp
res: 94/83/83/-37 (vitality, pof, pol, poi)
30% phyis reduction and 64 flat phys reduction (6end charges)

Gear and passive tree On a budget atm and I still need to get carcass, quality arc and definetly better gear ;)

How is your damage with no snapshot, as snapshot will be removed. Really like the build and wanna level a scion so two birds.

Hello, tbh no idea as I'm taking a break from POE atm but I wouldn't really worry about a snapshot nerf as RF has a lot of ways to buff the damage with curses, EE and shock stacks. I would be really surprised if the nerf has a big impact in dps for RF builds.

I haven't checked it very thoroughly yet but below would be an example for the new tree in the patch:

1.2 RF

This tree gives 11,1% life regeneration alone, on top of that come vitality aura and endurance charges for some extra regen.

The only way to counter the loss of maximum fire resistance is through life regeneration which we can get from the tree. In the end it would come down to this:

+3 max pof: 11,7% life regen nedeed
+4 max pof: 10,8% life regen needed

etc..

I'm leveling a discharger atm in beyond and will make an RF char like this someday during the league.

Thx for the answer! Will it still be possible to do a scion build ? The skilltree you posted starts at the marauder tree..

I see now theres just a few passives different for scion.. What about the sovereignty node on the left in the tree? It will buff pof.

Hello, with the new tree now it's way better to start as marauder. As for sovereignty it can't boost pof anymore due to the nerf, it now gives 22% aura boost which isn't enough to buff pof (unless you have a lvl23 pof). The only use for that cluster now would be to run more auras with the reduced reservation.
