Oro's Righteous Fire Marauder [1.2.0]
" I have a lvl93 scion in the current HC race (I don't die) using RF as a main skill What are your credentials? dying every 2 minutes because you don't understand how important max resists are for RF? Did you know there is a notable called Amplify? Did you know that quality AoE increases the AoE itself further? Did you know that you need to snapshot with redbeaks? | |
" 1. Yes Amplify of course. But as I said I am lvl 68. Until I get there it will took ages. I want a solution now. If I respec, that means I need to cut my hp nods wich will result in low life and less dmg. 2. Yes, but I am not buying a gem for 2 ex simple because I cant afford it. 3. Nop I didnt know that and if I would, still would not do that. I consider snapshotting as cheating and I dislike this unintended mechanic/feature in the game. Your turn now. |

" I have 8,2k HP without Kaom's, with better gear I could break 8,5 With a new Kaom's I get over 9700 What kind of math are you doing? Also, you are missing support gems and snapshot gear " 1. Get it and stop using crappy gear, the templar area has plenty of HP nodes. Getting to 80 from 68 shouldn't take more than 12 hours. l2p 2. You buy quality AoE for 4c, and do the rest with gcps, that's not expensive Last edited by H4NS#4418 on Aug 4, 2014, 1:58:48 AM

" Rare sceptres with fire damage affixes or Doryani's Catalyst obviate the need to snapshot Righteous Fire and still provide significant damage improvements. |

A levelling guide for the passives please? From 30 to 30 if possible

" You can't level with righteous fire. I'd recommend to switch to it at the mid-high seventies. Something like: http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgAB2E2UoNpiaHT56EGHtz7-CojxNZK18m6qSsg_JypNFSCD2_xLznFsFizp3Q38xWegh3ZKfVuvGNutSgxfzSapbngNC2F5aMEEXz-iDy7_UFBYYz38jM_2SOOfJy_vDryfpKzyL6gYdPEhYECgBS1gS3rvdO2Cxyj66-56qprgRZ24k6cIj0bQ0M9lVcYWb52uGmwZhSSqNunz3eQiKU_sOBo4p4SQVVfiMokEswJx8B8UTaIAgzjvfDwFn99OKiml Requirements: LVL17+ Vitality and PoF, Rise of the Phoenix, Overcapped fire resistance by at least 44% Very Desirable: LVL17+ AoE with quality (40%+ AoE) Last edited by H4NS#4418 on Aug 4, 2014, 5:49:26 AM

Mid high 70's ? Damn, then this is definitely not a build for me. After killing Dominus in merci I feel like I have nothing to do. I dont like maps. My highest character so far was 77 and it was a pain in the ass to level him so far. 1 lvl = 2-3 hours. Not interested.

I meant different trees like one at level 30 , one at 60 and so on .

Speaking from experience, it is quite possible to switch to RF at 66-67. Here is the skill tree I had when i switched to RF at around that point.
http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgEBAnEEswUtC2EMXxJpFE0VIBccFy8Y2xmFGmwhYCSqJLAnLyfVKPopTymlKk0s6S7_Mok1kjbpPydAoEGHSn1KyE4qUFBX4lhjW69fP2BLZ6BuqnF5dO108XgNeWh674CkgseDOIbRh3aI8Zitna6iD6SspwioGKlurUq18rc-uJO8n8EExFjG2M0m3Q3jn-Qi6-7sOO8O73zyL_Pd-ej60vzF_go= Assuming that the player has been levelling the PoF and Vitality gems, worst case scenario, they are at level 16. with the passive tree and the gear, this means that the character has an 89% fire damage resist. at that level, you will be taking (90*.11) = 9.9hp/s damage which will be mitigated by (8.9%+1.45%) 10.35% hp/s regen. There is no levelling tree for RF so to speak. what you want to do is rush to all the regen nodes, taking the efficient life nodes as they come. the problem that you will have with the build i posted is that you will be having a total of only 154% increased maximum life which should be offset by +life rolls in your gear. However, if you look at the tree, all the life nodes are within reach except for the northern 18% notable passive. I have to point out that H4NS was completely correct in pointing out that this build will start to shine at mid-70's. the problem with the build is that it needs a decent life pool and high regen for it to shine and that can only come past 70 and with decent gear. as for the AOE range, two things: Carcass Jack and Amplify. " if you're going to bash a guide, make sure you understand the mechanics unless you want to come out looking like an idiot. many players have tested and proven that this works, from maps to Atziri kills. the gem links you provided only proves the point that you didn't even try to understand the guide before criticizing it otherwise, you would have seen Oro's reasons behind choosing the gem links that he uses. I'm all for critiquing a guide as long as there is a valid point but your post didn't have any. Last edited by anton2k4#7394 on Aug 4, 2014, 11:18:29 AM
