Thanks for sharing this, Very interesting insight on how you work. Sounds like something that would have happened to me at work as well ;)

It does build a good lot of trust when things are transparent like this. Showing us the people and processes behind encountering and fixing these issues greatly improves patience should things like this happen again. Not to mention useful advice for future IT workers.
