Incident Report for 1.0.2 deployment downtime

Thank you for this thoughtful and educational post; this is the kind of thing that sets GGG apart from any other game developer I've encountered. Keep up the great work.

Posts like these are exactly why I respect GGG and what you do for the community; you wouldn't likely see any kind of post like this on another game's forums.

Thanks to you for letting us know what happened, and showing us a little of what's under the hood.

This.

So much work done in just 1 hour, detecting and fixing unexpected problems. Great job, GGG!

This is why GGG = best devs I've ever seen in any media.

The fact that you just released a step by step timeline of a downtime is utterly insane.

I'm not comparing to d3 because of the d3 VS poe troubles, but because of how d3 downtimes went:

servers down multiple hours
little to no communication from d3 devs

end of discussion

any downtime from POE? in depth reasoning as to what happened when you were working on improving the game

you guys are just beasts
You have to stop doing stuff like this. It makes me want to spend more money with you!
This company .. GGG ..
Is setting a new phenomenal standard in game development, customer satisfaction and transparency!

I have just recently started playing this game, although i have read about it before during it's open beta days.
At that time, i thought, meh .. just another company ..

However, i have kept a keen eye on this phenomenon known as GGG and recently, i quit playing 9dragons, an MMO that i have spent well over 25,000 USD on, to come here, and support you guys.

Why? Because you GGG, deserve all the support you can get.

Now, i will start small and progress to support bigger over time.

Please keep up all the excellent work you have done!
