Been talking about a Bow Witch build for a while and ended up with something pretty similar to this (as pointed out by the OP's guild mate):

We're pretty much done theorycrafting it I think, but an extra set of eyes on it can't hurt, so feel welcome. The main difference is that'd the Witch build will use RoA as her main attack.

i think this is the tree updated for the latest patches...i stopped playing that toon but i can tell you it was a lot of fun (i also managed to find a mirror while playing him ;-) )

i wanted to have a magic find build that needed only a 4 link attack(frenzy+lmp+faster attacks+iir) for aoe and single target that could do enough damage in every situation.

i skipped accuracy nodes because i relied on a lioneye bow

i was just testing this build on a new char on ambush, i'm a melee freack and never before played a ranged character, my only caster char is a dual flame totem scion and always played whit RT so here is my feed back.

leveling whit frenzy is akward because of mana, but i stick whit it for 2 reasons: 1- i like to use a skill all the way, never liked the leveling builds, and 2- i know from experience (which is not that much really) that once i hit certain phys damage a 2% leech (both mana and life) will be enough to keep me alive and firing whitout a mana or life leech gem.

so i played safe until 32 and equiped a death's harp, which helps alot whit the leeching issues but i still had problems whit degens and some hard hitting rares and uniques so flasks where a must, not a problem for my anyway (smart play taking advantage of range and enfeeble goes a long way). at this point i had about 480 dps whit a 3 link frenzy (LMP + PC on crit, rolling whit 4 Fcharges and 3 Pcharges) and doing ok until i purchased this next thing

and at lvl 47 the world change... my damage whit the same charges kicked up to 1k, in the next levels i will get the next charges on the shadow area and reespect 2 points to fill in properly that area once i've conected the right path and most likely hit 1.2k dps whitin the next 4-5 levels.

the build isn't very friendly on self found/first chars or new users, but at this current lvl (48) whit this or similar weapon it performs like a charm, i was really blown away on how much the damages scales whit both the weapon and the charges combination and i'm looking forward to put a fourth support on frenzy (faster attacks or phys projectile damage, but maybe added fire be a good choise and frees up a red socket for a life leech gem if necesary).

I just started using this build an absolutely love it. Only @ 14k dps as of now, but I still have some upgrading to do. I am using a 293 dps Lioneye's Glare but want more dps and crit chance.

Do you plan on updating the skill tree for the new update? It would be very much appreciated.

I haven't tested anything ingame, but based on the patch notes the Frenzy nerf will hit this build really hard. The regular IAS per charge for frenzy has been reduced to 5% (down from 11%) and the quality bonus has gone down to 0.2% (from 0.35%).
So with a 20/20 gem and 8 charges that means 72% less IAS.


If Assassin's Mark is good enough to get power charges we can switch out PCOC for Faster Attacks. That should give 54% IAS with a 20/20 gem. Still an overall nerf, but other (bow) buffs may make up.
I only lost around 800 dps from the frenzy nerf. Was @ 16.3k before the nerf, now @ 15.5k.

Now I want to grab one of the bows that had the base crit chance increased with some decent dps and see how it goes.

One thing I did notice is I lost a lot more HP than anything really.
