[0.10.0] Eldritch Battery Ethereal Knives Shadow [Videos Included]

Really love this build, went more glass cannon as I play SC and enjoy the damage more.

My damage, pretty crazy, this is with mana and life leech too.


I know you don't use pierce, but I like it much more than chain which gives mana issues and lower damage vs a few mobs.

Nice crit chance - thats crazy shit.

wouldn't this build suck against reflect mobs (aka getting oneshotted)? Invalesco has already stated that byrr's build is better for survivability. He said his build is still very viable but since your damage is a lot higher with crits you need to be able to granite in time and be on your toes or you will die, hence the reason byrr got 1-shotted by his own EK the same day kripp lost his wander.

How much higher is Invalescos dps actually? Im a pretty casual player so going the survivability route sounds better.

im having troubles with mana

i have already battery. 350 life and 550 mana at level 32. With my micro, i can survive pretty all. I wonder, if ill be able to support 5x auras later when im having problems with mana already now (faster cast is not so good when i cant shoot more than 1 per sec).


ek with fork do nice dmg, but im missing main skill vs 1. Bear trap is not good because im limited to 3 only and it is slow + not too much visible dmg (no added fire yet), so i end up using double strike in the end.

Im thinking about ice spear/ power siphon / freezing pulse vs one mob. What do you suggest?

Anyway, i want to use 5 auras,

what auras do u suggest? discipline, hatred, determination, vitality and grace. Do u think its ok?

ANd what is the passive skill tree/node that u recommend for glass cannon for end-game?

You are lvl 32...with only 350 health? WTF?
a) I didnt get EB until lvl 50
b) when I did I had 1500 health and have ~900 mana without EB.
c) I still only run 1 aura.

You should only be running 1 aura - hatred - if anything. Make sure its linked to a reduced mana gem. If you dont have reduced mana - don't use it. The other aura's are not neccesary until much later on - just level them. 5 Aura with this build is incredibly difficult to do without godlike gear, even at lvl 62,

Use three mana flasks - I only use one now because I have really high mana regen.

What type of flasks are the best for this type of build?

Perpetual, ample, or surgeon's for the granites/life/mana flasks?

Surgeons is really good if your crit chance is higher than 12% i would say.
