[0.10.0] Eldritch Battery Ethereal Knives Shadow [Videos Included]

I'm still trying hard to find my version of an EK build.

A ScrubCore-and-Proud-Version.

I want good survivability (preferably rather high HP regen as well) and insane damage plus no need to worry about resources (EB or BM gem - idk).

Basically, the point where all EK builds start to worry about one-shotting themselves when facing reflect-mobs, that's what I want - amplified!

I want to hurt stuff and chicken out against reflect (using Bear Trap or whatever).

To complete the dilemma, the whole package should be almost fully working before I reach map content. Because I usually lose interest quickly once I'm there.

Anyone can figure out how I could do this? I spent so much time trying to find a build that does all this, but it seems impossible.

Who gets this done gets a cookie. Ah, what the hell, make it two!

I've got my shadow up to 41 on HC with this build.. only issue I have is mana, doesn't regen fast enough, wondering if I should go EB now.

(30% * .9) + (40% * .9) + (40% * .9) = ~99% mana reserved

So even with a level 1 reduced mana cost support gem, all three of the percentage auras could be enabled. At max level according to your numbers:

(30% * .71) + (40% * .71) + (40% * .71) = ~78% mana reserved

To run all of those auras, the minimum amount of mana required is:

With maximum level reduced mana and discipline gems:
[1-(.30 * .71 + .40 * .71 + .40 * .71 )] * x = 215
x ≈ 982 mana required

With maximum level reduced mana gem, and level 1 discipline gem:
[1-(.30 * .71 + .40 * .71 + .40 * .71 )] * x = 120
x ≈ 548 mana required

With level 1 reduced mana and discipline gems:
[1-(.30 * .9 + .40 * .9 + .40 * .9 )] * x = 120
x = 12,000 mana required (because 99% of mana is reserved, so 120mana/.01)
The Analytical Engine has no pretensions whatever to originate anything. It can do whatever we know how to order it to perform.
is ti viable to replace added fire damage with added cold damage?

Question. Should I trade this for The Magnate or keep it?

Meginord would give you more defense, the magnate would give you more DPS.
I have a question:
Will claw work with this build?

I'm leveling my EK-Shadow @ HC right now having huge problems with single targets.
My AOE-damage is fine, but EK is very uneffective vs single targets. Had a rare mob with ES and it outregen'd my DPS of Bear Trap and/or EK. Level 32, Act 3.
Running EK atm with Faster Projectiles and Fork.
loving the spec so far. few questions:

im lvl 33 atm in act 3 normal. mana has always been an issue. perhaps that gets better with mana leech? currently using EK linked with fork and faster projectiles. any other advice for mana? using 2 health 3 mana pots and im forever chugging mana pots every fight

im also using double strike for some single target dps as sometimes mobs outrun my bear trap.

also does this spec have to use a dagger? what about a wand? doesnt seem EK is weapon specific and wands have high spell damage usually. im sorry if this is a newb question but im curious.
