I am currently levelling up a shadow with your build and i have two nobbies questions :p

Why don't you take the "2% physical damage leech back as mana" node? As EK does physical damage, it could be interesting for early/mid game mana issues, don't you think? Or i missing something...

And do you try to run more elemental damage aura to improve overall EK damage +some crit effects (shock, ...). It could be interesting but i guess, u 'll need to much mana.

Well, not a big deal. I will try out a cold witch next. If she will fail too I will stick again with this build ;)

I'm currently doing Byr's build. One of the major setbacks I have right now is lack of dex, so my bear trap gem is stuck. Did you guys just compensate with gear? On another note, are ice spear or arctic breath viable alternatives?

I've got an Onyx neclace with +20 all stats. And I took one extra +30 dex node that was next to the path. It's possible to respec that out later if I won't need it.

sorry for the noob question, but i am following this guide and it says not to lvl curses, does that mean dont lvl projectile weakness? if so why? thanks a lot.

edit* also i see you're using 2 different curses in this guide, in what situation should i use each one?

Mind Drinker only applies to physical attacks, so it won't work with EK, which is a spell.

Likewise, Wrath and Anger only apply to attacks, so they won't work with EK. You can use Hatred however, as the added cold applies to all physical damage.

Was wondering what level ranges Quill Rain + Broadstroke would be most effective in. Debating on if I should invest currency items on these.

Bear trap doesn't really get vital until later on. And later on, you definitely get more dex. Byr's build goes down into the dex area so at around level 40-45 you will never be stuck on it again.
