He says in the original post that Fork outperforms Chain in the early levels. Just throw it in a slot and let it level a few times before you bother with it

At what level do Reduced Mana and Discipline have to be to actually return more mana than you're spending on it? Is it (Discipline) even worth using before you're 50-60?

There are so many variants to this build. So simply put, is this the best variant?

If you scroll down the the headiong "End-Game Gear" he has a stat priority list.

I am at lv 47 and I am having a lot of dificulties beggining A3. I'd say it is like impossible to do it.

How are you guys managing it? I followed the build precisely and its being damn hard.

I use the spells:

EK + Fork + Faster Projectiles + Mana Leech
Hatred + Reduced Mana
Summon Skeletons + Spell Totem
Bear Trap + Added Lightning Damage

For A3 Normal I just used Claws and Armor with Dual Strike. I found it much easier to kill things quickly and stay alive. Now that I'm in A2 Cruel I'm really at a sticking point. I've taken EB already...which looking back on it, I think was too early (looked at the wrong page of your build).

I haven't bought a bunch of caster items because I'm not really confident EK will even put out enough dps. I can 1-4 shot most mobs, but I feel very weak and run out of mana really fucking fast. Should I not use Hatred and Discipline together? Mostly gave up on him today just because I don't have items and I'm not sure it will pay off.

Can someone help?

EK is very strong with Chain/Fork. Bear Trap outputs huge amounts of single target damage. The biggest problem with the build in early/mid game is mana. Another thing about this build is that it takes quite a few levels/passive nodes before it really starts coming into its own.

The problems you seem to be facing are because you haven't really followed the build. You should have switched over to Beart Trap and EK at around level 15.

You shouldn't run both Discipline and Hatred until you've got the mana pool and regen to support it. You also shouldnt take EB until you've gotten about 2k HP and a lot of regen or after Act 2 Cruel. He covers that in the first page of this thread.

I'm in Act 1 Merciless and this build is very potent. You just need to take the time to read through all of the information, invest in getting the right gear and support gems for you two major skills (EK and Bear Trap)

What is a good way to re-work this spec for normal mode? There is a ton of survivability. I want to kill shit.
