Just wanted to stop by and Thank You Invalesco, for the great build. I'm only level 27, but this build is coming along nicely, and is tons of fun to play. I do have a question, I noticed on your gear link, that you use an ES shield, and I wanted to know, (around) what level did you switch from dual wield to dagger and shield ? Thanks for any and all info you can toss our way!

Hmm can anyone help me please? Im really stuck up on the idea of either following moreso IVans idea, or Byrrs, Dont suppose anyone can give me some insight on the difference between the two? Which one is more efficient etc, and if one beats the other, is it by a large or small margin?
Thanks in advance, and I ask because while I did enjoy Ivan's build read and explanations, Byr's seems to pretty much stomp this build out of existence in every form of DPS/survivability. Hello.
I am really enjoying your build, there is some amazing AoE damage and survivability that I lacked in my self-made characters. However I have troubles with mana and single target damage. It's abysmal, with 6 Bear Traps doing decent damage, but any boss or rare fight takes 10 hours. Is there another spell to use with this build for single target damage ? I usually play with a friend if this matters. |

I decided to roll an EK shadow and I followed the guidelines of this thread, I'm now at lvl 49 and I still can't use EK, Freezing Pulse deals as much DPS as EK, wastes 3 times Freezing Pulse's mana and EK has half of his range making my survivability really suffer a lot.
I have 1.6k HP, 200 ES, and Freezing Pulse with LMP deals 501 dps(each projectile ofc) and my EK deals 514 supported with Chain, Added Fire Damage and Faster Projectiles so I can try to have a bit more range. At the moment I am farming Merciless Ledge and I clear it 2 times faster using FP than EK, could anyone help me giving some opinions? Thanks in advance. Standard IGN : ObIivious
