For hc you'd probably want to keep pol still for the extra mitigation +max res gives you and the less chance to get shocked. SC you can probably go wild and add more dps auras. Got owned by an Incinerate guy in PvP the other day, any tips on how to counter that stuff?
lost one match and barely managed to get a tie in the second one. Seemed like the guy had permanent immortal call up making it almost impossible to make a hit, ended up getting most of my kills with whirling blades just to avoid the incinerate spray. Allright, got myself a Flicker strike gem but after putting it into my 6l the damage
was pretty underwhelming, 10k with rats nest and auras... noticed when playing around with the gem setup that faster attacks seems to have no effect, any other green support gems that would benefit flicker strike? Would like to avoid recoloring my 6l as it was quite costly to get it the way it is now (RRRBGG) Peace! |

Flicker tooltip is on-hit dmg and not DPS! Multiply it with your attackspeed for DPS value.
FA is wasted on Flicker, take Blockechance reduction gem instead. Pupicitas: lv. 100 Shadow

How does this build get to +140 Intelligence from the passives done?

gear, unless you sacrifice passives into +30int for easier gearing.

I just wanted to say that Lightning Strike works extremely well with this skill tree as well, not sure if you've had a chance to test it out yet as stated in the original post. I'm playing in Rampage now, used Double Strike almost all the way until now but just made the switch and am quite happy with it.
My links & gear are as follows: I found LS to suit my playstyle much better since it's more versatile. Instead of scaling the melee portion of the attack for aoe, I use PPAD to increase the projectiles' damage. LS also gives you the bonus of getting shocks through the inherent lightning damage. I haven't had problems with reflect - possibly because you get the benefit of Ondar's double evasion and the attack is being split into physical and elemental, though the last part is just a guess. I haven't done crazy maps (namely ele weakness with some other damage mod) because my gear is still lacking a bit in terms of resists & life as you can see. Quick tip, try to link Elemental Proliferation to HoA, seems to speed up clearspeed greatly while still being affordable manawise :) |
