[1.0.x - NEM/HC] The Dreidel - The Spinning Budget Duelist
I remade this in favor for Marauder. I quite dislike the Duelist looks and especially that red shirt.
Its 95 points. without taking damage nodes. I suggest starting to pick them up after this core is made. Have a look and let me know what yall think |

" your 200 dps is actually 400 as it hits twice per attack. |
|
" Looks fine to me, but Im no expert. Thats pretty much how I plan to roll (grabbing mara life nodes, or at least 'heart of the gladiator' and 'diamond skin', plus 'elemental adaptation' on the way) You didnt take elemental adaptation nor resolute technique, why? " Well, that's still less than infernal blow or heavy strike, even with splash. Does it perform better late game? Any advantages over GS/cleave/leap slam/infernal blow/heavy strike/whatnot? |
|
Why dont u take resolute technique?

i use cyclone/doublemulti strike as well ^^
i personally dont use life leech on my Doublestrike though. i use a dps gem and rely on the leech from gear/tree. i never really have issue sustaining if im facetanking and using DS. but then again i have 22k armor from grace+determination lol. might be different when i get around to getting a Hatred gem Last edited by alexvsevil#7683 on Nov 26, 2013, 12:22:45 PM

I died two days ago.. not because the build was weak or anything, but because I was an idiot. Cycloned into a pack of 40 monsters (including flame alchemists) on a minus resist promenade map, and tried to get to the diamond totem before they got me. Pretty dumb on my part.
I'm rerolling a scion using this exact same build (only difference is scion might have more phys attack... will update you guys) ALSO HAPPY FIRST NIGHT OF HANNUKAH! KEEP SPINNING BRAS!! " Build looks pretty good! " Advantage is you can deal with phys reflect, can jump into big groups of monsters and never drop low. " I actually do, just the most recently updated skill tree got messed up when I posted it I guess. Should be fixed now. " If you don't have an issue that's fine. But i'd rather leech as much as I can (20% of max hp) while facetanking a boss |

This looks like fun! :) I was looking for a build to get a duelist to 65 that isn't like one of my other characters (and not spectral throw, as tempting as it is), and that works with mostly self-found gear (I don't have a BoR). Looks all self-found/budget-frienly, and seems to be mostly independent of the weapon-type, too. (I always end up using 2H maces, but have some neat swords laying around, so I get to use those for a change.)
Thanks for sharing your build! | |
" No problem :) Keep us all updated as to how you're liking the build!! |

where the final pasive skill tree . level 100 ++ ?
|
|
" The Final passive skill tree is in the second post... the POE forums won't let me fix the first post for some reason. |
