apparently the change killed dual spark totem and pretty much every other totem build EXCEPT this one because this build is the only one relying purely on curses and the core concept requires no damage from the spells you cast. interesting change.

I was going to make this character and play it all weekend, but when i saw the upcomming nerfs to double totems and CI i hit "Exit patch of exile".

CI builds and totem builds maybe dead if changes are implemented making it a waste of time to make one.

I want to play poe this weekend , what should i make?

So far nothing would change for me. As my gear is pretty crappy anyway, I almost never cast anything myself (besides curses ofc.) because I have to run in circles to avoid getting hit :P

Depends how bad Spell Totem gets hit, though.

Well, the combination of how dual totems work together with the 50% cast speed hit, this is going to be impossible.

Let's hope they will rethink the changes.

Yeah that might actually be a little over the top. But still, you cannot deny that this changes would hurt this spec badly. That badly, that I would consider a Summoner over it, because it loses it's kill speed advantage.

But we do not know how it will look after all, it's alpha for a reason.

On the other hand, as mentioned above, my gear is still really bad on this char. Maybe with your gear (or even better) it will still be awesome - idk.
i think the double arcing crit pen totem summoner build will be more effective than this one if these changes hit OB without getting overworked

because i read you still can summon minions
