[Strongest Solo Variation: Projectile Madness Spectres] LMP/GMP Ice Spear 2x Totem 2x Curse 3x Traps

I'm actually level 32 on your witch build and enjoying. I was just wondering if i should continue on it. I was never one to say your build farms slow anyways. It was what i READ..in the previous pages. Please get your facts straight before bashing. I never even said LA Ranger was better than your witch. Is there something wrong with me wanting a farming character? Pretty sure 90% of the people on POE has one Lol. Many people posting on your thread are looking for a farming character. Are we all braindead? This is how you treat the people interested in your build? Anyway, i'm done here. I respect your build so let's keep it back on topic.

you cannot use zombies with this build. zombies needs to be constantly resummoned from corpses but you break most of the corpses with ice spear. whereas spectres are fine without many nodes, zombies need a lot more to be effective, which is not a great balance. if u want to use zombies go play the inferior summoner build.

I wouldn't go out of my way to change the dual totem style to use zombies, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with an extra meat shield. Even using the exact same template, its slotting an alternate weapon to summon zombies, and tabbing back to your regular weapon set.

I'll concede they don't offer much, without heavy investment, but ceding a few points in casting speed in my case for a few extra minion nodes can turn them into extra dps/bombs at the cost of pressing X and Q occasionally. Meanwhile taking nothing from the core of the Dual Totem Ice Spear Build.

let me repeat this.

Without heavy investment, zombies needs to be constantly resummoned from corpses because you break most of the corpses with ice spear.

without minion nodes zombies are going to die too fast with not enough corpses. back tracking to get the few extra corpse for resummon is not efficient in a map farm. in my build i have already emptied out most of my ice spear boosting nodes and theres pretty much little left unless i lvl up even more, which means it then becomes a 80+ build.

I also have no slots for linking zombies at all in my gear. it is not better than skeletons because i dont need any investment or corpses for skeletons and i can summon 7 already.

if the zombies are that weak and i cant find corpses to resummon them constantly, dont use them.

what you want me to say? dual totem ice witch really is that bad of a farmer? its not better than LA ranger? you clearly have no intention to learn, instead of trying this build urself and actually think, apparently you already made your decisions based on random people's comments.

i recommend u go play d3. tons of brainless easy farming maybe it suits u better.

You are a complete tool. He asked a question and you get defensive like a little child would. You should go back to D3 where you fit in so nicely with all the other smart ass arrogant pricks.

^ pretty much this. You've made a great build. Stop being so defensive when people ask questions lol. This is a 105 page thread and some people dont have hours and hours to test out new builds. Relax man. Throughout this thread you've repeatedly jumped down people's throats for the most random things.
maybe for 105 pages every time someone ask stupid questions liek which build is better, what should i do now, why do i suck at lvl 30 when the build says to start at 50???

you ever think about how i feel have to stuck repeatedly answering these questions for hours?
yes i was pretty nice on the 30th or the 40th page, but now i am losing it lol.

it's fine if you ask build related quesitons like items and nodes, but please do not ask me which build is better. i am not a professional gamer like Kripp and i dont have hours to test every single build and tell u, cuz i have no fking clue lol. If people ask this again dont blame me for my "defensiveness".

keep this on topic. A forum mod already posted warning here.

lol i think that after 105 pages things are bound to get out of hand. Specialy the *dumb questions and the "what did you do with the bandits" (Heck i even asked this once on page 20 or something)...

Anyways i'm lvl 63 now and i've always loved this build. I did my own thing until about lvl45 and it's been great since, the swtich to the dual totem play style was hard, especialy the relearning the key mappings.

Everything has been fine for a while now, CI really came through for Act 2. I'be been using Zombies for meat shields to great effect (no nodes). It's far from perfect but it does help a lot. I switch to Skeletons for bosses but otherwise i personaly don't like to constantly re-summoning them. I can't wait to test out the Specter variant once i clear Act 3, it looks like a great addition. (Although i don't like using Flammability, maybe i'll try Projectile weakness or something to keep a great dps on spears aswell.)

*Not a heavy gear dependant build
*Great defense
*Does great dps and clears fast. (dual curses and traps help a lot, can't wait for Specters)
*Awesome Build for first timers. (Unlike Krips Uber builds that require the best items possible)
Quick question about the newest variation. If you're using skeletons as a meat shield and having flammability to support fire damage, why not include minion instability? Seems like a potentially awesome 1-point investment. I'm no where near the level required to test it (only level 38 at the moment and just speccd into dual totems). Just a thought though!

Edit: Also wanted to ask - are you the hypershatter of anivia fame?

Yes, i am the same hypershatter from LoL. I am glad someone still remembers cuz its been a long while. are you from mobafire?

And for your question on minion instability, skeletons may benefit from the explosions, but that also means the spectres will die now at 30% (explodes), whereas without this mechanic i can slowly pot my minions back to acceptable health over time. The skeleton damage is marginal due to low health and not the key focus of this variation. Therefore not worth spectres dying earlier.

Hey man i posted a REAL question about the build but i think it got lost in all the QQ,

My question was where would you put points after completeing your current spector build?

Would that crit multi cluster add much dps to the ice spears?
