So, just finished that Shrine thing. And yes, it was easy :) Didn't even used raphit's / SoL and the only scary moment was whne piety turned into ice form and got hit by that spear..tho dodging other spears was easy and nothing else bopthered me at all :)
Did that map with phy reflect and 50% regen so DPS was kinda low :/ but still..easy as ever :) Wicked_Clown

I am trying this build and so far made it to lvl 47.Its been kinda slow compared to other builds I have tried.The "fun" factor of this build is the exploding corpses. I suppose I wont be able to run both aura's till higher level? Is there any specific or good mob to farm the Abyssus helm from? I am pretty sure the shield is from higher maps with insane amount of irq? Is there a good range amount of ES we should have before converting to CI? " I'd be curious to see how you're geared out. One of the hallmarks of leveling with Facebreaker is that if you do it just right, you pretty much just steamroll everything. (I actually use Facebreaker to level every single character I level now.) I can only make vague suggestions since I don't know what gear you have, but make sure that you have as much "Adds #-# Physical Damage" gear as possible. Having that on your rings and amulet is very, very big, and if you can use something like Foxshade for your body armor (cheap, maybe a chaos or two) or Meginord's Girdle for your belt (more expensive, around an exalted, but useful even at endgame) then those will help a ton too.

" You're correct. You probably need to be close to a level 20 Reduced Mana gem to pull it off while keeping enough mana to do things. You definitely need Mind Drinker in the Shadow area before you can, and probably you'll need one or two of the "Reduced Mana Reservation" nodes (or Sovereignty on the upper left). " Neither Abyssus nor Aegis Aurora are special drops from high level maps. Unfortunately there's no specific place to farm them. They're just as likely to drop in one place as another. Your better bet for getting them, if you can't buy them, is to do Piety runs once you get close to level 70. They're good for loot and you can earn enough to be able to buy these (normally around 2 exalted for Abyssus and around 15 for AA) while leveling through the low 70's. " I asked this question a few pages ago, but since then I've kind of learned that "amount of ES" isn't really the right question for this build. When you get to Merciless, park it on the Ledge and level until you get to around level 62. It's some time around here that you can switch. (I switched at level 63, in part because I had to use an extra +30 Dex node because of my gear at the time.) Just to give you an idea...I had about 1600 ES when I left the Ledge. This build doesn't require as much ES as some other CI Witch builds, because it has armor and because of the leeching to your energy shield. If you do that, just make sure that you a) take CI, Ghost Reaver, and Vaal Pact at the same time (as the guide says), and b) use your next several passive skill points to strengthen your energy shield. |

" I probably should have given it more of a chance,but I just deleted character at level 49. Usually I didnt have issues with a build till mid way through Merciless,but this build was trouble since probably near end act 2 of cruel.I had everything I could with + physical damage.I was not running hatred towards end there cause i couldnt survive without running the ES aura.But Im sure as a solo,self found player I didnt have the good of items to begin with. Facebreakers were only %722 and compared to those with %900+,mine were weak. Ive done over 100 peity runs on my lvl 80 "blender wannabe" with no luck of usefull items. |

Self-found + CI Facebreaker Witch doesn't work well at all because you need very specific gear. So probabbly you did the right thing by deleting your character.
About the problems .. well there are few things that you need to follow when you level up 1. Max block chance... don't even think about playing without 70%+ chance to block 2. As much flat physical damage from gear as possible. 3. Hatred.. i mean come on .. what other aura would you rather use at low levels? Discipline? ES without the ability to replenish it in combat means absolutely nothing! 4. 4Links for your main atack... atleast. So basicly with the right gear you kill the bosses in Normal and Cruel with 3-4 hits. All other packs are 1-hit away from turning into bloody mess.. if that's not fast... i don't know what is :D But again that's hard to achieve without the right gear!
