OK, I hit a wall with this build and I never thought it would be vaal pyramid. Normaly a nice spot to farm but now no chance at all. WTF? Eveerything there seems ranged and freezes/slows me not a chance to gain ES back because of all the ranged attackers and the desync I have (hitting thin air almost 50% of the time) I lost basicly an entire level because I thought I can fight up to vall fast and kill him. No chance. It was the worst vaal fight I had ever and it went so well in cruel. Merciless with ES, it was a pain, he even insta kills me without even see what happens (desync basicly, it's really heavy today). How the hell will this work? I can't tank him all the time and because of lag it's hard to move fast, even with lightning warp it's a pain. I never thought this fight could be so frustrating, what the hell is going on? And why do I leech so little ES back, even with 8% leech and 6L dps, it should be much much more. I fear the spash damage does not count for ES leech which would be bad.

Seriously, no clue how to advance this way, when ranged attackers can kill oyu that easily, 2800ES is low I know but therem ust be a way. It would be much more easy if I had no lags/desync but so I never know if I really hit enemies and leech life or not. Oh, and I not even wearing Abyssus which would make taken damage even worse. hmm, GGG seems to made the pyramid much harder, the rooms were literally overflooded with ranged casters, never seen this before, scary...

Sounds like you have internet connection issues.

It is always when you meet mob groups and/or go through doors. However, it is not that important when you play a ranged chara or Summoner etc. PoE tends to be desyncing, maybe more for me. I have to /oos basicly every few seconds.
Again, this is no issue normaly but at the moment I need to hit the mobs to stay alive I recognized that desync/lag is a serious issue because this build only works if you can leech ES constantly. When you are surrounded by mobs and they can hit you but you can't hit them, it's frustrating. I have died in the Fellshire Ruins, never did before (Elite Ranged Skeletons with extra Fire damage killed me 2x in a row), I died at the Docks ( somehow the Voidbearers are getting stronger every day) and basicly everywhere where fast mobs or groups appear. Maybe I need more damage to leech more life I'm at ~6200DPS with 3 Frenzy Charges (and without Abyssus).
Again, the build is great, I don't blame the build for it.
But if you have some desync issues you don't stay alive for very long if you aren otr fast enough to react. It worked fine as long as I had no CI but now I guess I have to rethink my gear and some things. Max resists are needed, I am working onto the far left ES/ Armor cluster to get the +8% resists at the end. After that I take the last Shield Block cluster to the right. At least if I can manage to keep my XP. :D

Actualy not, Ping is fine, some small lag spikes, the usual stuff with PoE. No issues with other games and to compare more precisely, I basicly never have desyncs with Diablo 3, it is always smooth and precise. ;)

EDIT: a temporary solution could be this helmet from the depths of my stash, less fire/cold resists and little less damage but much more ES, seems to help to stay alive longer:

Then you maybe play a WW Barbarian? ;)
Some skills can cause desync in D3 to, that's true. But not as bad as in PoE and not out of nothing or because you conquer groups of mobs.
by the way, this Facebreaker build here reminds me onto my D3 Monk, I have a nice build that includes exploding palms, works similar to the facebreaker build, nice and bloody chain reactions onto mobs. ^^

Hi there! I was hoping someone could give some insight and advice to me.

I recently respeced my lvl 59 witch to this build. Followed the passive tree exactly upto 70 points. I acquired some of the gear I needed plus some lvled gems. My problem is I cannot survive at all in Act 3 Merc right now. I have 928HP and 377ES. DPS with infernal blow is 2k. How can I boost my survivability while I level up my toon and gems and acquire better gear?
