First off amazing guide! The best one I have seen on the forums. I love FB and IB so this is a no brainer I am coming from a BOR setup with a maurader it hit a brick wall dealing with chaos damage and also damage in general peaked @ 17k.
I am loving this build so far I hit lvl 62 not to long ago and am really enjoying it however as I get through to docks to farm piety I'd like some advice on my jewelry what to switch around what I should get that is the hardest thing to do for me in this game lol also the mana right now with reduced mana ect is a measly 67? finally the cost of the jewlery. Once again I hope to learn alot more about the build in play and push it as far as possible. ONE LAST THING LOL what is the red animation all over the character after popping blood rage? also IB is @ 10k how will this build surpass my MAurader with BOR?

First of all i specified that you MUST have capped resists all the time! it's a TOP priority and if you can't get max resists from gear you MUST get them from PASSIVE SKILL POINTS! About the multistrike ... i never died to multistrike.. not even once.. and i'm not talking only about this character... i'm talking about more than 7 characters all using multistrike... never died! I've mentioned that this build IS gear dependant.. so i can't be held responsable for something that i've warned about. By the way can you tell me one build that is not gear dependant? And about the l33t gear .. just a fun fact. All of my items + all 20/20 gems of my gear are wrth around 50% of a legacy Soul Taker... @Recon775 First of all you can't expect to deal alot of damage with 4Linked Infernal blow... If you can't cap your resists with your gear use your skill points for that. Get quality on your Boots/Helmet/Chest The 4 ES nodes are right after the Chaos Innoculation... i don't see how you can miss that :) "I'm going to show you pain you never knew existed, you're going to see a whole new spectrum of pain!!!!! This build is as you've promised, except the transition to CI, but i dont have the needed items. Thats not a problem for me, leveling to 70 and take then CI.

2 ex hat. 10 ex shield. 2 ex shoes. 1 ex belt.
just spent another 2 ex getting armor. now i'm looking to craft up phys dmg/res/shield/iir jewelery to round it out. my shield is around 2700 under discipline now and i still occasionally get killed by kole. not quite the "immortal" i thought my she-hulk would be. |

First I'd like to say I really appreciate all the effort you put into this guide, everything was so clear and well presented throughout the whole thing. :)
It amazes me how some people completely ignore all the hard work and dedication others put into things and choose to bash it at face value, I wouldn't put much stock into such comments. Secondly I'd like to say I had an absolute blast with this build so far, leveling was a breeze and the chain explosion effect is really satisfying (as was facetanking merc dominus at level 64). However one thing I'm a little disappointed by is my DPS This is currently my gear (Domination league):

 Now I understand I don't have the legacy facebreakers, my gems are not at max level, and I don't have a 6 link, but these things seem relatively minor for an almost 3x DPS drop from your own witch. Yes you really need more Energy Shield in order to facetankk heavy physical hitters... but you'll get there eventualy.
I've got the question "How much exactly did you spent for your gear?" Well here is the answer:

As for the gems the only one that i remember buying was the Melee Damage on Full Life. Bought it for 1 exalt 2 weeks ago. All the others i've bought at lower % quality and GCPed them to 20% by myself. So in total(with all the gems at their current market price) i've spent around 45 exalts + 12 GCP + Wurm's Mold. Just for comparison a 6L shavronne's wrapping which is consider a 100% must have for most Spell Caster builds is 80+ exalts... and we're talking about expensive gear and builds eh? Expensive or not - everyone must decide for himself to follow this guide.
For me it was worth to buy / craft all the needed items. Those basher should go away. |
