Dec 19: 2h Solo HC

Probably the worst Race ever for me.

Not a single transmute dropped.
Not a single Long Bow.

I had to fight merveil with a short bow which took around 20 minutes

The first long bow dropped at level 14.

I think I will go caster classes races next year. The lack of a level 10 bow simply resulted from close to Top 10 after brutus to: nowhere close to level 23 which was a normal 2h result for me.

can u guys give a few pointers, gems, places where u kill most monster, lvl recomended for areas?

Had some issues with the Vendor, didnt want to sell me medium flasks or strength accessory so I had to rethink my gear for brutus a bit, but it was ok after all.
Also lacked scrolls of wisdom until act II and didnt get a transmute until western forest.
More of a problem were the desync issues - they got increasingly worse throughout the race :-/.

At least I managed to stay alive this time, which brought me to 3rd place in total.

My first race.
PoE crashed about 1h 30min in, could prolly be top1 ranger :} really close, gg.

Had to ALT+F4 just before Merveil once ^_^

How depressing, I was doing extremely well early on. Got frozen at Chatters and had to close game, wasted time by killing him since I had kited him through my search in Prison for a while for nothing. So lost around 5 minutes total on Brutus.

Got to the coves just fine, wanted to progress really badly to merviel but I had no portal scrolls and was low on wisdoms. Lost around 30-40 minutes on merviel. This made me lose the race.

Got my first portal scroll drop at act 2 forest. I'm not kidding.

GGs though. Probably could have won for ranger if it werent' for bad luck on portal scrolls. :\

My start was seriously so bad. I usually need like 20 minutes to mentally prepare for to start a race but this time I was rushed. I played so sloppy sucked when I was in the start of upper submerged when guy reached lower prison or something. I also didn't like when I am not even at brutus with the way I rush to him when someone already killed him lol.

Anyway.. I think a lot of people did bad later in act 1 or something since I was just a few seconds behind merveil kill. After that just played solid for rest of the race.. then started getting bored so started playing a little more risky to try to get rank 1.

Everyone else is improving at least as fast as me so I'm still middle of the field but heck I don't care, it was great fun.

Was what I used from 15 onto 23.75 when I died. I realize now that fork doesn't work on Poison Arrow.

Hum, Fork does work with Poison arrow... Maybe it's because you linked phase run with fork ? That doesn't work ^^

Not really a good race for me, Died from desync at lvl 10 (brutus chamber was empty then I just got OS) :(

Rerolled with 1:40 remaining (I think) and managed to get 3rd ranger.

Nothing really special on my gear tho :)
