Here's why this suggestion thread is getting so many bumps:
However, I implore GGG to not let this happen. Addictive, powerful, and alluring as it may be, xyz.is' is PoE's equivalent of Diablo 3's Auction House, and its power must be curtailed and, if possible, reduced at every opportunity. In no instance should any effort be made to buff it. Frankly, the game would be better off if the site didn't exist; without searchable buyouts, item valuation would become difficult again, minimizing the impacts of currency determinism in the game.
Hey, you forgot to mention one thing. I've also posted it to reddit:
What a filthy spammer I am. Right?
i can't even imagine people posting their concerns to gain support

What stupid logic.
I never liked D3's Auction House but this is nothing like it. This is the equivalent of d2jsp which has been around for years, and nobody, least of all Blizzard, complained about that.
The website promotes trading. It doesn't say the prices, not even if they're listed in the topic themselves. Most people don't even list prices themselves, leaving the value of something up to an extreme debate.
And finally, have you seen the public party window? Welcome to your in-game auction house. Better ban public parties, too, right?

No. No Thankyou.

Whatis ~b/o tag for 200?
Just because a lot of people don't use the buyout feature does not mean it doesn't exist. I can find the prices of tons of items without having to open the thread. For example. Eye of Chayula on Domination goes for one Exalt.

It's been a few times where I've wanted to know if an ilvl of an item is high enough but the seller wasn't online to ask him.
