I'm currently level 82 in Nemesis and 67/68 maps are a breeze. Easily one shot white/magic monsters and if you get a map boss that's scary it's really easy to kite with this build. When I do maps with groups I easily carry lower dps players and I have gotten a lot of "dem shock traps" comments ;)

It should also be noted that I still don't have my Carcass Jack 5/6 linked and am also currently using a level 8 arctic armor.

Here's my gear currently for any interested. 4164 life w/ ~900 free mana. 1k tooltip avg dps w/ firetrap, 5k w/ bear trap.

I think my next bit of currency will go into at least 5 linking the Carcass Jack. Also I'm excited to get High Explosives in two levels. I haven't decided where I'd want to go with my next 5 points on the passive tree yet.

It looks like arkon is using conc effect in his gear thats linked on the front page.

And hmm nullification may be a waste of points not sure. Before he had those three points in the ele resists under scion start which was more of a waste imo. But not sure where you would put those three points either. More life I suppose?

Yeah no problem. This is the farthest I've ever gotten in this game and I am having a lot of fun with this build.

Clever construction not worth the points(maybe unless you go pvp or something). The only difference it would make is vs cycloners which includes one of the exiles and one of the uniques before Dominus. And they're still killable it just takes longer. I haven't had any problems with storm heralds like someone mentioned on one of the last few pages or anything else for that matter killing my traps.

This seems as really cool build, gonna give it a try! However, Sunblast is now much more expensive, how important is to buy one with higher increased trap damage? And why are you using Divinarius,Doom Cast and Spell Power? Aren't traps unaffected by spell damage and critical strike modifiers?

I used the point at 86 to respec bandits for a 4th endurance charge. Was debating using 87 to respec for more bear trap damage but I suspect a crit node or two would be a better increase across the board.

Read the fire trap gem.
It is Fire, Trap, Spell, Duration, AoE. It is affected by spell damage and crit. Also Divinarius has 10% increased radius of area skills in addition to crazy crit and a decent amount of spell dmg.

Well personally I took two evasion rating nodes from the big evasion rating wheel (allready giving me +40% evasion rating with only two points when Nullification path gave +18% with three points). And with the third point I guess you could do anything you want, sure some extra health wouldn't hurt.

How is this build intended to survive in high level maps with "pretty harsh" modifiers? I thought this build used to use Cloak of Defiance for heavy damage mitigation, but i see it suggests Carcass Jack now. Without the mitigation from CoD can you really survive in maps without leech and sustain besides pots?
