You can't start exactly this spec from lvl 1. Until 70ish you shoul level as life-based and then respec into CI. Also it's not very noob friendly build.

you are right, its an endgame build, not cheap, not easy to lvl up. but very very strong endgame

since when is discharge only an endgame build. i've seen plenty of people rocking cruel mode with it. probably works fine in normal mode too?

and what exacly is not cheap in this build? searing touch? it's a 1 chaos item. i don't see anything expensive needed here. even a 4 link works.

i think it works but if you don't crit you don't have to worry about not killing yourself versus reflect. and damage is good enough without crits.

you dont have enough points to go for crit. there are several crit discharge builds out there. but this builds fokus is on getting the highest flat burning dmg possible using the new avatar of fire keystone. since we can already oneshot pretty much every pack of monster, there is no need to get more dmg and we dont have to deal with the possible chance of dying to reflect.

@kompaniet anything below a 5linked searing touch wont do good enough dmg for high lvl maps. atm those go for around 5ex. which is a lot for new players. i know for us who play since open beta 5 ex is nothing, but many ppl startet new with the release thats why i just wanted to warn them that they dont use this build as their first character.

discharge really starts to work mid cruel, however you can still expect to die a lot if you dont have very good leveling gear. i really leveld that build as it is without having to respec it, so it was quiet hard to get good ES gear midgame xD

since i got asked several times now, you dont need cast on dmg taken for this build... i tried it yesterday and basicaly the only thing you need is


bloodrage, enduring cry, discharge, flamability, grace

could you post a summary of linked gems you are using with this build?
or a link to the old kripp build, perhaps there is a full list?
i think there are not every gem visible on the gear you linked right?

Question from new player here:

You don't seem to have a Life Leech gem on your gear (unless I missed it). Why get Vaal Pact with no Life Leech and also how do you regenerate life (or ES in your case) without Life Leech?
