Garena will publish Path of Exile in Southeast Asia

POE never be able to open here in south korea due to stupid laws and restrictions we have here. and atm korean govt just murdering lots of small/big game companies by making them pay money to govt to cure people have 'game addiction'. its getting worse and worse. i just hope GGG make singapore server more stable and better in the future. if GGG somehow manage to publish this great game in south korea, GGG better not be publish with Hangame. Hangame suck so bad.

Will asian Regions interact with the other regions? I fear tons of china-farmer spams and "the usual stuff". Not sure if this will be healthy for PoE.

I certainly hope that GGG wont close their singapore server.
I am happy the way it is now, will be continuing to play in GGG server then in Garena.
I like the community here in GGG server =p

Congrats on the expansion and continued company growth guys.

I don't really understand the role of local publisher, or the way some countries restricts the content of internet. I really hope this will bring just positives for all interested parties and for our community, and ofc for the game itself.

I am excited to see PoE grow in upcoming year or so. I hope that GGG/PoE example will make global change and force other companies to work even harder to deliver better products than they are doing it now.

I am a Chinese and the only hope of mine is not to force us to use Garena Server. This is a great game but have no chance to get our goverment's permission. I am currently ok with the Australia gate.

...Am I reading this right? it sounds very much like there will be IP-blocking / region-locking, just that it wont affect existing users...

I keep finding more things to be disheartened about from this announcement. Except this time I feel disgusted.
