DonaldF's EK DANMAKU Ranger Extremely High DPS /Jan.14 little update [Videos]

My res is still only in cruel, Im level 56 and am abit glass atm
my life is only 1400 but starting to realise when my EK's get high level the damage output is obviously showing its strength. So I was wanting my crit chance higher to get more EK output.

I might go to Rats Nest, will see then look for a 6L chest when I figure out my final gem selection, probably going to go with GGGGGR

Also I see you put alot into spell damage, is it paying off for you?

I'm trying to level a new character with this build.

can you please specify the leveling tips?

I'm currently using a 2h weapon with the spectral throw and double strike, that's about it.

This build takes a lot of +crit nodes for dagger only. But EK is a spell, and this I am pretty sure those nodes won't work on the EK. Is that correct?
So the nodes are just there to provoke a crit in the first place I assume.

Glasscannon is fine when u use spectral throw, but when u use cyclone it would be hard.
Since ur crit chance is still low and cast on crit is low lvl to.
U will die much faster.
Just go spectral throw + cast on crit and u will be fine untill sarn. Level there and try to upgrade ur gear(:

Yes i use spell damage. Got 65% crit chance now + hatred aura my ek does 3300 dmg each.

btw, cast on melee kill i think sucks tbh:# since u will have a lot of crit lately, to trigger ek with cast on crit would be a higher chance then melee kill.

Because EK is a spell. :)

so i was wondering if anyone knows how exactly the 250ms cd affects multiple CoDT. like is it global cd or just local? wondering if i should get rid of 2nd CoDT-LL-EK-EK link, with so many EKs i cant tell if there is any difference

I have upgraded my gear, to a certain budget, still isnt the greatest gear .. BUT..



Going to end up buying Rat's nest and look to also upgrade gloves next.


Since I levelled my EK gem's all the way from 1 to 12/13... things have become alot better for me. My crit chance is sitting at about 35% per dagger on cyclone. Should I dish out and buy 2x Gifts from Above and just be over the top?

The Crit increase node for spells towards the top of the dagger physical and crit chance nodes, what effect does that have on the outcome... since... crit chance is for your cyclone to crit therefor high chance for EK to occur.. but is this to also increase the chance of the EK to crit too? and I mean, if you are already doing 3k dmg on EK already.. is it really needed to have the EK crit too?

I dont like Spectral throw because I'll be using lv1 GEM which I really cant be bothered with right now. Plus it seems slow and less enjoyable to play with.

Im not using any aura's at all, but Im thinking I should probably setup Hatred/Purity/Grace options as Grace will make my glass thicker right til endgame.

global is all critable spells/attacks
local is attacks from the item (eg dagger)
if thats what youre asking.. (i hope im correct)

yea, the idea is to get the crit chance for spectral throw/cyclone really high so the chance of your cast on crit is more likely therefor more EK output. Dont worry about the the multiplier
as you dont want the crits to be doing damage, only for the trigger.
More crits = More EK
More EK = More Damage

Btw, I find kris daggers much better since they have 80% global crit chance.
and u just want spell damage + att speed on it, nothing more.
