hi, i have a question

due to reduce mana 71% and reduce mana from tree 20% we are able to have 3 auras

why nobody use the 3rd one?
hatred and grace are obvious choice but which one put next?

determination? anger? haste ?

The third aura is Tempest Shield I believe...

I do run three. Hatred, Grace, and Purity. I run Purity because using Tabula Rasa makes meeting resistance caps (along with other defensive requirements) more difficult. Unfortunately, you cannot run 3 60% reserve auras with this build (unless you use Alpha's Howl).

[base%mana reserved]*[total reserved reduction in tree]*[level 20 reduced mana gem]=[new%mana reserved]

60 * (1-.2) * (1*.71) = 34.08% mana reserved per aura, unless I screwed up somewhere.
mb u right... i didnt know the equasion ... i thougth its a summary

I had to switch to Spectral Throw because of the desync problems I was having with Cyclone, and I like it a lot more. If you keep Spectral Throw at level 1, it only uses 8 mana before support modifiers as opposed to Cyclone's base of 30. Also, Cyclone needs to be leveled up to increase its attack speed (for more EK's per second), which in turn increases its base mana cost (and greatly increasing the amount of mana used after being linked with supports).

Using Spectral Throw allows you to keep your EK-triggering skill at level 1 without any real drawbacks, since Spectral Throw doesn't gain anything with gem levels other than damage (which we don't care about). It also allows you to drop the Blood Magic gem for something else (I'm using Power Charge On Crit, for example; Iron Will is another good option).

Using this setup, my Spectral Throw costs 16 mana per use. Mine can be cast at around twice per second, for a total usage of 32 mana per second. It's extremely easy to get enough mana regen to support this without having to go out of your way for it. This also allows you to run 2 60% auras and Purity (30%), which helps a lot with overcoming the resistance loss you probably ran into by equipping Tabula Rasa (this obviously doesn't apply to those of you with a "normal" 6-link chest).

The tradeoff seems to be that Spectral Throw will not cause as many EK triggers as a Cyclone will in a lot of cases (Spectral Throw came out way ahead for me due to my desync issues, though). It does, however, allow you to play safer by staying further back or kiting (along with the other advantages listed above).

I apologize if anything in my post had been covered earlier in the thread, I'm pretty late to this build and didn't read every page. Also, thanks to DonaldF for posting such a fun build!

EDIT: I also made a quick list of the uniques that would have (I think) considerable impact on this build. I haven't tried any of these, myself, but I thought maybe someone would find something useful or interesting here:

Ezomyte Peak +20% increased physical damage
The Magnate +25-40% increased physical damage, +40-50 to strength (8-10% extra physical damage with Iron Will gem)
Deshret's Vise +10% increased physical damage, +100 to strength (20% extra physical damage with Iron Will gem)
Doedre's Tenure +40-50% increased spell damage
Maligaro's Virtuosity +50% global crit chance, +40-50% increased global crit modifier
Rat's Nest +60-75% global crit chance (obviously listed in the OP)
Gifts From Above +20-30% global crit chance, +20-30% global crit chance
Infernal Mantle +3-10% spell damage, +100% global crit chance
Alpha's Howl: if you want to run 3 60% auras, you'll need this

Anger won't work. Vitality will.

Derp, level 5 dude, not level 1. The mana cost doesn't increase until level 6.

Here's what I'm running.
Spoiler

Runing purity to compensate for all the uniques with no resistances (currently 75/75/75), and not using hatred *gasp*. Vitality not needed with blood dance regen. So, grace/purity/determination for me. About 44k armour with flasks up atm.
Many lewt.
Much desync.
Such rewarding.
Wow.
According to forum mods "sandwich" is considered an offensive word. Who knew?
Should i use these daggers?

Or These... i lose about 8% crit off my cylcone with these tho...

Use the first two if you want block. Get Plat/Golden Kris with better stats if you want more crit. Those knives aren't very good for this build.
