DonaldF's EK DANMAKU Ranger Extremely High DPS /Jan.14 little update [Videos]

I've been using this build for a while now (lvl 84) and glad to see a lot has changed :)

Thank you DonaldF for sharing this awesome build!

Here's my build:

I still use Cyclone with: BM, CoC, Life Leech, EK, EK (When I soloing I swap one EK for Increased Rarity. When I first started with this build, I used mana pots to sustain my cyclone, but spamming mana pots all the time was too much of a hassle, so I switched to BM. For this reason I droped one of the "aura" clusters because I only use mana for casting spells and whirling blades (no run potions). I found that the "range" of spectral throw was short using daggers, so I still use Cyclone because it hits faster and procs more EK. Desync is a major problem therefore still not viable for HC (I play in Domantion league).

I played a few 71 maps solo and most bosses are easy, unless they run away and throw traps :(

I might switch things around and use the unique dagger with increased block chance to be more tanky when needed, for this I need to move my aura gems to a 4link and perhaps drop the CoD EK EK Life Leech combo.

DonaldF, when I use the set of high dps boss gems, the gem multstrike bug my character, I do not use the cyclone and out the EK, and moreover the veses me to using the cyclone in a place on the map, and then I appear elsewhere, like a teleport. And when I take the multstrike and so leave the life leech and blood magic, it's all normal, you know why this happens?

- %Increased elemental damage nodes + %cold damage/%fire damage mods on gear (slightly)

It is NOT affected by:
- %Increased Physical Damage mods on Weapons

So if your dagger has inc physical damage apparently it doesnt work?

Because that's buffing the daggers base damage (local), not spell damage.
EK is a spell.

Only things like cruel Oak bandit reward and the Magnate belt will buff both the cyclone attack, and the EK spell.
Many lewt.
Much desync.
Such rewarding.

Hey Guys,

i was wondering if there is a way to put this build into a ci/vaal pact version? Or do you end up spending too much points, since you can stay alive with life aswell?

And another problem would be the missing life for blood magic? So you have to spec for mana and lose even more points for crit chance and projectiles?

why nobody use the 3rd one?
hatred and grace are obvious choice but what to put next?
