great build

im going ranger.

this are my items so far:





my life flasks are shit and idk why i still have a mana flask... I should certainly re-work the 4L, since the only one working good is the immortal call, but how i already have lvl 16 cwdt... i will up this shit till lvl 20 to reroll (dont want to loose 6 chaos).

As I stated before my setup is different and I run 2h weapon instead of 2 daggers. Yes I know the difference, but I do get 2 x 6L to play with instead of 1 and my survivability is better in my opinion. This doesn’t mean that I am right and DonaldF is wrong. You play whichever way you like it and enjoy it.

My defense is much higher then yours and resists are capped and I still get stunned and frozen time to time. in most of those cases for you it would mean death. For me it means nothing because of 3+ k hp and 15k+ def.

since i started running maps, i need more survivability, so i changed the auras...

current running Determination (lvl 15), Grace (lvl 17) and Purity of elements / Vitality:



i think for running tabula the armor is pretty impressiv!

hehe I borrowed determination (LVL 18) from my other toon.. and put on staff instead of axe for additional block here is what i get

Because EK is a spell :)

He is trying to double dip... crit on cyclone to trigger EK and crit EK to trigger EK again

Isn't CoC supposed to work with attacks only?
Attacks should trigger it, spells shouldn't.

Currently level 76 in nemesis with a build based on this one.





Right now I have ~4200 life and ~2000 mana. I run Grace/Clarity/Arctic Armour without any problems and I don't even feel reflect damage, at all. Lightning Thorns is still a bitch and I'm not really sure how I'm going to counter it. I've done 20 or so Maps and so far I haven't had any problems. The build is extremely tanky with 40% of all damage being taken on mana instead of life with a mana regen of 200. My weapons are crap and my amulet is even more crap and I could do with upgrades in most slots.

One thing I did to not hurt myself as much against Lightning Thorns was to remove my Cast When Damage Taken with double EK. It loops the damage since every time you get LT damage, it procs CWDT, which procs another LT and sooner or later you die.

Unless I figure out a way to safely deal with LT then I might change a few points around and just run a physical Reave build without CoCS.

how do you deal with being frozen? catacombs and library both have mobs that simply freeze you even if you are maxed on resists.
