thinking of getting body and soul or getting more hp, not sure yet - will update as I go for those who are interested

Yeah, please do....

I am interested about the DPS difference between IB and Frenzy. Also are you running Frenzy off life or mana? Did you take the extra Frenzy charge from bandit quest? I like the idea if 5 total Frenzy charges are enough (3, +1passive tree, +1bandit quest), but not if I have to go way up for the 6th Frenzy charge. 8 passive points for one extra Frenzy charge is too steep!

That is exactly what I did, helped Kraitlyn to get +1 frenzy and 1 easy passive point from the skill tree

As far as DPS my friend with IB has close to 20k but mind u IB is amazing solo and has insane AOE range, as for Frenzy its not as 'fast' solo however its safer in the sense you can run ele reflect maps while when ur IB you cannot due to the corpse explosion that will chunk your HP

I am lvl 80 now, breezing through all maps, only rerolling maps with - resist or elemental weakness

I can solo Dom and face tank him without switching to the Lazwar amulet, I just swap a life leech gem into melee splash spot on bringer of rain, can do without it but its extra safety

this is my passive tree now with body and soul:

gotta say im pretty impressed, armor is up to 15k, 649 es, 4k hp, dps is close to 22k now with 5 stack frenzy
going to get max block at 84, and the rest from 84+ is hp nodes so the build can easily top off at 5k+ hp going past lvl 90

I have updated my gear below and removed the gear from my old post:

Spoiler

Only thing I am scared to do is double exalt eagle turn. would be great with hp and es for the extra suffixes :) but doubt it will work out that way

lately ive been having difficulties with dominus on 74 map

ive tried every strategy but nothing seems to work when u roll it

-extra boss dmg
-extra 4 proj
-turbo
-temp chains
-cant remember... map had over 100% was too tempting to not do

Tried saffels, but his minions own u, tried leech instead of melee splash, tried dominating blow on the minions but i still die to him doing insane dmg going through my block somehow.

Tried some other things as well with totems, the aegis, the saffels, different combos, nothing works, once on other map mods i got 1 shot by his thunder fist (aka touch of god) map had a lot of extra dmg.

When i dont roll the map with any mods that directly affect his dps, its doable sometimes, if u chug down a topaz to be sure he doesnt 1 shot u with his thunderfist when it bypasses ur block, other times i still die even on normal mods with no extra dmg.

It kinda bugs me, coz i did dual crema boss on ele weakness and with the use of 3 tps ( coz i ran out of ruby flask and pots) i managed to kill them, but this dominus map man, even 77 and 78s dont give me this much trouble.

Anyone care to share how they deal with this map? or u simply just roll it nice and safe, coz dying after lvl 80 is a bit of a pain in terms of exp

did i read right: you can kill 78 bosses with this build, but cant manage to kill 74 dominus?
well yes, dominus 74 boss is as hard if not harder than most 74+ bosses, that includes 78 bosses. especially u roll it with insane dmg mods , try doing a 4 extra projectile 74 residence , u last exactly 0.01 seconds, and about 4 seconds if u have max spellblock

Hey there. This build seems to be very strong and really cost effective compared to a 6l-chest build. I am planning to respec my current 1h mace + aegis + infernal blow build to your facebreaker build.

But first i have a question: How much tooltip dps difference is there between the new facebreaker with max 800%+ and the legacy ones and how much max dps do i get from the 800%+ max facebreakers ?

Just curious because i would need to buy facebreakers + bringer of rain.

And also i have the new rainbowstrides which are providing less resistances. Would you say that legacy rainbowstrides are required for this build to get max capped resistance?

Crazy build man. Thanks for sharing it ;-)

Maybe anyone other than the thread owner can answer my questions too ? :-) would be very thankful

1. Yes, the difference between 800%, and say 975%(since realistically most of use will not pay an extra 5-15 ex for minuscule damage). Is about a few thousand dps. I'd probably say about 800-2k at most. Not too sure.

2. No, it is not a must to get the legacy rainbowstrides, however, do keep in mind since we need so many specific uniques, theres almost no room for resistances. Example, if you follow his exact unique item build, BoR, Lazhalar, Facebreaker provides no resistances.

Meginords with 10-20% cold res, NEW Rainbow with 8% all, Aegis Aurora with 10% all, 5% max cold. And we use purity aura at lvl 20 providing 29%(?) all. We also have skill nodes in resistances totally up to 50%(?) all.

So let's see using average rolls:

97 Fire Resistance
97 Lightning Resistance
112 Cold Resistance(15 average from meginords)

vs.

With legacy rainbows:

109 Fire Resistance
109 Lightning Resistance
124 Cold Resistance(15 average from meginords)

Based on our max resistances, since we get the 2% max increase to all node, and 5% max to cold from Aegis Aurora. We need the following resistances total to reach max cap.

137 Fire Resistance
137 Lightning Resistance
142 Cold Resistance

And the only place left is for both rings to provide elemental resistances.

----------------

Without legacy Rainbowstrides, you'd need 40 fire/40 lightning/30 cold.
With legacy Rainbowstrides, you'd need 28 fire/28 lightning/18 cold.

A lot less resistances is needed with legacy rainbowstrides, which alleviates burden on the type of specifics your rings must provide so you can pay less for more(since we all know GG gear with all the great stats costs a fortune).

Conclusion: It's possible with non-legacy rainbowstrides, but just with legacy, your life is a bit easier.
Thank you very much for the detailed explanation opungo. I will try to get my hands on legacy rainbows then if its possible for me.
