[1.0.X] [Marauder/Duelist] Facebreaker + BoR + Aegis Aurora | DPS & tank

tried temple map on double boss ele weakness 4 extra proj and turbo. Although i died 2 times coz the amount of things get thrown at u from 2 bosses with 4 extra proj and 33% res ( 91% cap with flask) is just insane. Im guessin the times i died were to crits bypassing block.

Since i got hit by 8 balls of lightning and 4-6 lightning storms per second im guessing i was getting hit by 1-2 balls of light and 1 light storm per second.

Still, normally no one would do such map or resist more than 2 sec tops. So i can vouch for the build being insane against bosses such as temple piety 71, dominus 74. dominus 78, piety 77, with moderate to diff mods.

The temple one with those insane mods was the only one that i died to, wanted to really push it to see how much this build could do.

Have to say its probably better than 95% of the builds out there considering the amount of survivability u have agaisnt 99% of the situations.

one question for OP, how do u get 79% all res, i only manage to go up to 77%, cant wrap my head to account for the missing 2%

that was before purity of elements nerf. its 77% now

I have altered this build a little bit to be more party friendly.
I am on nemesis with most of the gear mentioned here.

I am using Frenzy instead of IB, and I didnt go for 6 stack frenzy but 5 stack instead.
I can say that most definitely it is a great build.

Running Hatred/Purity/Grace instead of Determination - Armor is up to 11k

At the time of this post my DPS with 5 stack frenzy is 20K, I am only lvl 73, with 3.5k hp and 500 es. I should hit about 4.5k hp in about 10 levels as I am missing some critical HP nodes along with max shield block talents.

lvl 76 now, 12k armor, 3888 hp/519 es

have a friend running the same build except determination instead of grace
when we party together im sitting at 17k armor / 71% reduction before any endurance charges / flasks - pretty nice :)

I think we were making some real progress on upping the DPS while still maintaining the insane surviveability.

Died today on 71 temple. Piety killed me ;/ Nemezis.

Are you running clarity then? Since you are not using BM in BoR? Mana leach on rings maybe?

I think the key to up the damage using either frenzy or infernal blow is to ditch blood magic off the BoR and include Added Fire Damage. Easier said then done.... :(

Yeah, please do....

I am interested about the DPS difference between IB and Frenzy. Also are you running Frenzy off life or mana? Did you take the extra Frenzy charge from bandit quest? I like the idea if 5 total Frenzy charges are enough (3, +1passive tree, +1bandit quest), but not if I have to go way up for the 6th Frenzy charge. 8 passive points for one extra Frenzy charge is too steep!
