[GUIDE] The Tri-nuke -version1.3

This is the most interesting build I've seen so far after release.
I would have never guessed that using traps with lightning warp can produce such awesome results)

so i've found the lightning warp traps to be completely random, and pretty much useless vs single target elites/bosses. how do you aim or get around it?
ammar - make sure you are using multi trap. also, don't click the enemy's name to aim. Instead, try to throw it so that their feet are between two of the three traps. Whenever possible, lure bosses into trash mobs to make triggering the tri-nuke easier.

Also, I've been doing some thinking about what someone said regarding the bottom-most trap cluster. Here is what I have decided after some analysis: For a PVP build it is best to avoid this cluster. For PVE version this cluster is recommended. I will go into more detail (including my reasoning) when I update the guide tonight.
Why did you use Trap + Lighning Warp instead of just Lightning Trap, which aslo frees one socket? Is the damage considerably higher?

@Araycan Lightning trap's damage is abysmal compared to LW traps. Also, LW Traps are able to nuke a huge area where as Lightning trap will need to equip damage-diminishing supports to hit a similar area.

UPDATE: I have face-lifted the build and added several variants in for those of you who were curious. Please check it out and leave feedback/questions below
CI/ES Build updated to level 67 (85points, not including any Bandits)



To get to the bottom of the tree it takes 15points for 40% trap damage & 2 extra traps.

I'm also eyeballing Throat Seeker for crit multiplier, and taking out the Witch Lightning nodes. (I cant do the math so I cant work it out)

I guess finding out the best way to get the most DPS with the least amount of points is more important then choosing a version that fits peoples play style. (CI/ES/HP/DualCurse/PA)

Another question - why don't you use the Remote Mine? In theory it should more than double the damage.

1) You get +50% damage just from the mine skill gem
2) You get all the damage increases for mines from the skilltree, which in most cases are the same as for traps

You can also get a node to +20% mine damage.

Of course you won't be able to throw the mines as you do with traps, but you can basically warp to the needed location, place the mines and activate, then warp away if needed.

Besides, crit multiplier is an effective damage-cranking support and it doesn't require me to gimp my play style.

^ I'll PM you the power charge dual Void Battery build that someone else requested, hold up. It can only shine in PVE of course, but it should reach much higher burst DPS than any other variant.
