As suggested above, EE would provide a nice damage bump in PvE content.

This is actually not true. Refer to my post above where I explain why.

Ah, didn't see your edited post, good point.

I barely get hit, and it meshes well with trapper since you are dodging most attacks manually anyways.
Neither of the builds you linked are particularly good for this, and let me tell you why.

-First of all, your mana is non-existent. Traps demand a HUGE amount of mana to use.
-Second of all, Both specs will provide far less than half of the damage you see in the videos. I would be amazed if you had 25% the damage output of my build.
-Third of all, please understand that EE is not good for LW multitrap AT ALL I'm actually going to add a section in my guide the reasons behind this just so that people will understand. Refer to my post on page2 in the meantime.
-Fourth: about your IR and US combo. This build does not face-tank. Traps cannot leech, so you do not want to be in the middle of a pack of enemies. The reason I chose evade is because most of the things that come into contact with you will be projectiles. Only your traps should be in the midst of combat. Spending points going out of the way to pick up these two keystones taps majorly into your resources for things such as mana, movespeed, and trap laying speed - all of which are essential to the play style.

Lastly, you are forgetting that sometimes a great offense is the best defense. This build relies on mobility (high run and/or LW) combined with the nuking potential to avoid danger. If it takes you 2-3 uses of a trap to take down a strong enemy, that is terrible (even more so in your builds that won't have the mana to unlease 2-3 uses of a trap at a time).

That being said, there is no reason to drop crit. If I were to drop anything in favor of more life - for HC mode for example - I would drop a couple Light damage or Trap damage nodes.

Very interesting build, wouldn't have thought about lightning warp as a dmg spell tbh. Otherwise most of the lightning spells really suck, so it's kind of a good choice I guess, but compared to lightning arrow it's probably not close in dps. I made a lightning arrow vaal pact build which transforms 50% phys dmg into lightning dmg. I think overall dmg can be much higher in this build because phys dmg is so much easier to stack than raw lightning dmg.
But +1 for style

I found that with EE the first salvo of mini warp novas reduces the 2nd salvo(when they warp).

So EE is definitely a no-go

PLUS: Can you post the math, please?

im still curious about EE - what about fire trap? does the burn not 'convert' the damage to fire for every nano-second they're standing in it? wouldn't that then boost the damage of every single lightning warp hit, constantly bouncing back between fire/lightning regardless of how little the time, as long as they're standing in the burn?

im not sure how the burning ground affects EE...any clear ups?

edit: im also curious how you survive. i mean clearning out white trash is never a problem for any character but how do you deal with the devourer boss, or temple piety or something that WILL hit you, and when it does you're either dead or you definitely cannot take a second hit.
can you cope? or mainly just glass cannon
