Gramar i dont have xp with hc races but i do have xp with timed hc runs to test different builds to write guides.
Will be streaming 3 4h practise runs tomorrow if anyone is interested to see how this build works, i will put stream link in guide.
I dont know if you seen devmoons stream lately but hes doing exactly the same as i am.

and what exactly is devmoon doing that's exactly the same as what you're doing?

You mean you're doing exactly the same as devmoon, not he is doing what you;'re doing :P But keep practicing struyk, considering how many times you have easily gotten 32 in practice runs we can all assume this weekend you will easily get 32, that is of course if you are finally able to finish a race lol

So are you're claims based on 4hr races? Dude I think you have alot of refining to do. GL, but it sounds like you had mild success in one race and then wrote up a guide.

Weapon upgrades is not that bad with dual wield. The main advantage 2handers have is that they only need 4 whetstones and 1 alch to upgrade weapons late while dualwielders have a harder time crafting.
End race farming speed at cruel ledge for a dualwielding cleaver is comparable to a 2h ground slammer.

Thanks, it's always interesting to hear how other good players play a race. I've never explored the 1h at all, always just gone 2h. I tried a 1h board ranger just now, things were fine until prisoners gate where DPS just dropped waaay off. My wep wasn't horrible but you're right, no way near enough DPS for races.
It is funny though if you get a real leet 1h it can do more damage with cleave by itself than if it was coupled with a crappy 1h.
