Struyk, I need to point out one thing to you and that is stop giving these theory crafting guides when you haven't even finished a damn race yet. I'm getting tired of seeing you spouting this stuff and you bragging you can always easily get level 32 in practice when AGAIN you can't even finish a race.

Right now you have no right to give any guides or any tips because you have not once been able to back up what you're saying. A few days ago you was bragging to me how easy races are and how easy it is to get level 32, and I called you on it, I challenged you to do the race and prove what you were saying, and you failed that challenge. You have now done two races in a row, both of which you never made it past 30 minutes. Stop talking such crap and maybe start focusing on your own game plan instead of giving these guides which no one is going to take seriously until you can back up what you're saying.

And also, stop constantly saying "I was #3 at 20 mins" type of crap, who cares, positions change all the time and the first 30 mins anyone can be in top 3 if they are rushing ahead, until you start finishing top 5 I don't wanna see you posting your BS any more. Sorry if this sounds harsh but you brought it on yourself.

Whatever you say bro, I told you that I dont do races because I cant fking play with these desyncs and I will die. Both races I died because I couldnt hit my enemies hwile they were right in front of me. This build works perfectly, especially once you hit cruel and get enduring cry then you just cant die anymore. Had totally no issues in both runs, last run I didnt have phase run or the deep dweller done so was kinda handicapped and probably wouldve survived if I had phase run lol... Was just a test to see if I could hit cruel faster then I normally do without picking up phase run. I've survived 8 4h test runs past few weeks and all wouldve placed me in top 5 if it was a real race. I died many times because of desyncs and without them I wouldve finished all test runs. Try the build, find any little error, then complain. For now, go back into your cave.

Again stop spouting BS, no one cares, do you not get that? Words mean nothing, who are you trying to convince and what are you trying to prove? Clearly you like attention because all you do is try to convince people how good you are, but so far all I see is a person who likes to talk alot, you haven't once been able to back up what you say, and all you do is make excuses. You are like a broken record "I would've got top 5 if this was a real race" Well the fact is IT WASN'T so shut up, you haven't even finished a race yet, no one wants to hear it.

You moan and bitch about desync, yeah well who DOESN'T get massive desync issues in a race, EVERYONE, and everyone has to deal with it.

The point is you make yourself look like a fool, maybe you don't care, maybe this is just all about getting attention, it is very likely your whole intention.

And why would I try a build of a player who can't even finish a race haha You're becoming a joke, I spotted your BS several days back when I was reading some of your posts, and some times you just blatantly lie or exaggerate things.

As I said keep practicing pal, you have practiced many many times and you still can't finish a real race lol but good luck I wish you all the best haha.

Yup I cant finish a race, I admit, but thats not because of me but because of the game. This build works fine 100% and many of my friends and guild tested it and love it, they will try it next race so prepare for some more dualists in top 10 :)

Watch my stream next week, and look how bad I get desynced THE WHOLE RACE while I get 11-12ms..

You said you cannot finish a race not because of you but because of the "game". Well the fact is you made a mistake of fighting chatters and that got you killed, so it was YOU that made a poor decision.

And that comment about your friends and guild mates running your build, again who are you trying to convince and what are you trying to prove??? You try too hard to get attention and clearly you want everyone to acknowledge you as a great player.

I should be able to kill chatters, and I dont blame it on the desync lol... Desync only sucks when running away from chatters not when fighting him XD I had more then enough tank and dps to kill him but really never got frozen this many times in a row :O

And that comment was because people dont seem to like this build and only troll me while it works great.
The best thing I can say is practice this build and see how far you can get in 3hrs and finish. I'm not really impressed at dying outside the top 10 as the last race I did (I don't do many) I died 4 times early on and was able to get to 9th before dying with 30 mins left.

Also my 2h axe build, which is very rough early/mid game I was able to get inside the top 15 for the last one week race after starting 45 minutes late and was inside the top 10 on day two. The big issue with these races isn't that it's impossible to get top 10 as not enough people take the races seriously.

But like that one guy said if you are waiting until 21 for merveil and 32 for vaal there's no way you are ever facing vaal in these races. I'd love to see a video of you getting to vaal at 32 in under 3 hours. It would be eye opening to everyone who does these races as most get to 30+ by spending 30-90 mins at the ledge.
Finished 17th in Rampage - Peaked at 11th
Finished 18th in Torment/Bloodline 1mo Race - peaked at 9th

I dont farm any map twice untill there is like 30 minutes remaining. I do almost fully clear every map like western forest etc which gets me to 30-32 by the time I get to vaal in 3 hours.
I have a few issues with it, but overall don't see anything too bad. DW duelist is pretty straight-forward and easy to play early-mid game. It's only after Act 1 Ruthless that it starts getting pretty challenging. I tend to agree that in normal/early cruel armor probably is better than life. That changes pretty drastically later on though as I'm sure you're well aware.

I don't understand Enduring Cry vs Warlord's. The LL from Sweep + flask regen + 70% endurance charge uptime is way better than on-demand endurance charges in my opinion. (EDIT: Maybe when you're fighting a boss like Brutus it might be different in that case just swap it out.)

Another thing is, I'm guessing you are switching auras in and out otherwise I don't see how you are running determination anger and hatred that's probably 80% of your mana pool right there which leaves you with maybe 40-50 mana for abilities (if you're lucky). Kinda iffy.

Armor Master is nice, but it's really a luxury.

Granted I'm critiquing this having never played Hardcore, nor have I seriously competed in a race so don't take it too seriously. All-in-all it's just a lot different than how I play DW one isn't necessarily better than the other it probably just comes down to personal preference.

Well you are right on all fronts, gj :)
But I still prefer 4 endurance charges for the all resists and insane armour boost over spamming warlords mark every group of monsters...
This is kinda more just a guide than a 'racing' guide. I say this because racing is done usually to win at least first in class if not first overall.

Any duelist race guide focussed on actually winning would never be duel wield. As opposed to a 2h/1h shield build, a duel wielding build has a much much harder time getting good enough drops.

A 2h build for example can use either axes or swords if you don't limit it using the passive tree (very easy). This makes it very plausible to have a good weapon at every stage of the race. Locking yourself down to needing 2 x 1h swords is very limiting.

This is just the first thing that's wrong with your racing guide ;) I'm glad you don't have too many secrets to give away regarding winning.

Basically the main overall theme for winning in any class is a strategy for solidly reducing the effects of randomness. This means randomness in Drops, Dungeons and Boss DPS. Following a 2h strategy is just one example of reducing the randomness of weapon drops.
