Can you explain the logic behind the passive tree changes? From what I can see, you've dropped some of the +life and picked up more attack speed. Primarily asking because I'm at level 62 and still having a little trouble with survivability solo and I couldn't see myself dropping those health nodes until I'm well into the 70s with much better gear.

Please feel free to point out the biggest needed upgrade, I'm still relatively new. I've got a bid in on a 5L Voll's that will let me hook up life leech though, that should help quite a bit.



The helm gems are my simple solution to bosses, I've got a high dps 2h in my back slots that I switch in when I have to single target something with high hp. I'm not actively running Disc aura yet either, it's still a net loss of mana.



I got rid of a bit of life to grab way more crit, AoE, and two more charges. A lot of people were saying they were not able to crit as often as I did so this version is much more versatile for those without insane gear, and it gets even better with insane gear. With this tree and 7 power charges I hit the crit chance cap (95%). I grabbed the AoE nodes that allows us to run Concentrated Effect and still have great AoE once we grab all the nodes. This is also why I got rid of most of the spell damage nodes, this build simply doesn't need them. Discharge does so much damage without any passives at all (20k DPS per explosion on this build) so the attack speed will help crit more often which is more important for this build since you one shot most of everything anyways. The new build basically sacrifices 200 health for around 20% more crit chance and some armor/resists as well. Also, someone said this build lacks accuracy, if you need more accuracy definitely spec into nodes for it, but if you have enough on your gear you shouldn't need too many of the nodes.
Why increase duration only lvl 3? is not linked to immortal call only? or is affected by cast when damaged?

Is it possible to run this build while only having a 4L volls? ST/GMP/Discharge/CoC are pretty mandatory, and Life Leech would be awesome (yet still unobtainable as a 5L for me).

Not sure how to get enough life back without a 5L. :(
Did you modify the passive tree since the last couple of days?

It is possible to get to lvl 76 with only a 4l. I did so.
You have to quaff some potions if need be though. And a leveled ST helps, because the more dmg you do with ST the more life you can leech with the life leech you have on equip.
I got a 6s last night, but now i lack the fusings to get a 6l. Only took me 3 chromatis to get gggrrb though :).

I HIGHLY recommend a 5L before you start the build, but it can be done without it.

Yeah, I updated it for 1.0.1
I finally got 6 sockets on my Volls Protector which now only need to get linked. Colors are GGRBRG, which is a bit sad, since i must 6l it to make use of it. But i'm happy i got the 3G right after the 3rd chromatic.
Now my question.
With this color combination. Do you think it would be a good idea, to use enduring cry combined with the cast on crit? I think this would increase my dps output immensly, since enduring cry would trigger much more often, as in cast when damage taken.
Combined with Bloodrage ore BloodDance shoes i should pretty much onehit everythink except bosses, don't you think?
I decided to do a CI version of your build, so far its doing pretty good. The only downside is with running discipline i only have about 120 mana and i go OOM a lot. Trying to think of a way to fix this.

No, it would be a waste of a gem slot. There are much better things you can run in it. If you are on standard you can just buy Voll's Devotion, and even if you don't have it you won't need any more dps. I take 0 dps nodes on this build and I still one shot everything with 20k dps rapid fire discharges.

A few mana regen passives/rings should do.
